Best knifes
This knife is amazing, big, heavy but well balanced. Very sharp and perfect for cookouts. It did great cutting beef skirt fajitas and chicken thighs. Can't beat the quality and price. Like it so much, I bought a different one as well, picture attached.

6.7" is all you need to get the job done
I bought this knife in 2021, along with a whetstone to maintain it. It's the only knife I use for prepping in the kitchen (everything from garlic and greens to hard root vegetables and watermelon), and I'm insanely proud of being able to master my $25 blade. About a year or two after I bought it, I noticed a hairline crack (see photo). I must have done something to it and not noticed, or maybe it's just the steel quality. Regardless, my blacksmith friend told me it would be fine and not to sweat it. He said for the softness of the steel and what I paid, it was negligible. And he was right - I haven't had a single issue with it. I sharpen it maybe 3 times a year? Maybe? It's held up near perfectly with each sharpening. I also use a little butcher block conditioner on the handle and on the blade itself when I sharpen it to thwart splintering. I also only ever hand wash it and dry it immediately after use. All in all, it's a generally low maintenance addition to our vegan kitchen (which I point ourt only because I don't know how it holds with with meat or bones). Anyhow, I still love this knife with every fiber of my being. I love having the simplicity of ergonomics, style, and practicality of a tool - and this knife absolutely does that for me. Once you master the art of using it, it becomes an extension of your arm that feels safe to use, and lets the weight of the steel do most of the hard work. I'm super impressed with how this knife has held up in the kitchen, and have even bought them as gifts for others after they watched me prep with mine! If anything ever happens to my baby, I'll definitely replace it with the exact same one. I took these photos the day I posted this review, immediately after sharpening and conditioning.

THE BEST KNIFE I HAVE EVER OWNED!
THE BEST KNIFE I HAVE EVER OWNED! My husband bought me the 6 inch model. Oh my goodness, it is such an incredible knife. I use it to cut meat, veggies and fruits. This baby is the real deal. It holds its edge wonderfully. I cannot recommend a better knife. I cook a ton of food and take this with me to Loaves and Fishes where I cook for 60+ people. All my helpers want to use my knife! It is a heavier knife, but that makes cutting even easier. As for the bad pictures on the reviews with rust and chips. Take care of your knives. Wash it and dry it immediately, and don't try to hack a rock. It is used for food. I AM ONE HAPPY, HAPPY CUSTOMER!

Great quality of knife, did not come sharp
My husband This full tank, Siberian knife. It was very easy to sharpen, albeit it did not come sharpened. It was very dull, and there was no plastic casing around the knife as I had seen in other reviews. However, once he sharpened it, he really really liked it. The mini knife that it comes with was very sharp and he uses that one day today and keeps it on his belt. These were a birthday gift and he loves them! The large knife is very heavy, it is pretty balanced for how heavy it is for the blade to handle ratio. He loves to use it for larger meats and butchering. It is true to size as advertised. Overall, I do recommend this product, I do have to give it four stars because it did not come sharpened and if there is someone who might be inexperienced with sharpening knives, this product might not be for you.

I now love cutting things
I waited a few months before reviewing so that I can report back with accurate information. If anyone is worried about rust, I will address that in this post. I'll start off by saying that the knife itself is gorgeous. It's huge, heavy, and very easy to grip and cut with. I only eat at home and I meal prep 12 meals every 3 days. This meal prep involves cutting a lot of meat and vegetables. My meal preps used to take so much longer when I had regular knives, but after getting this one, it slices through everything like butter. The weight and sturdiness also helps you cut, as it's so bulky that you won't risk bending or breaking the knife if you apply pressure when needed. I did see some photos and comments of rust, but I think those people are just slow and don't know how to take care of something. Walmart sells entire sets of knives for like $10, so if you're going to go and spend $50 on 1 knife, you NEED TO TAKE CARE OF IT. You can spend a $1000 on a knife, it ain't gonna take care of itself. If you don't take care of your items, they will deteriorate. You can't buy a $50 knife and treat it like a $2 knife from Walmart. This knife is stainless steel. Metal + water + oxygen = no bueno. That is basic chemistry, regardless of how much a knife costs, rust will form when a combination of metal, water, and oxygen are allowed to sit for a period of time. Every single time I use this knife, the FIRST thing I do is wash it with hot water and a soapy sponge. Afterwards, I dry it off with a towel. I then spray oil on it, you don't need to be all fancy and get mineral oil, I just spray avocado oil from Costco on it then use a napkin to spread it around the entirety of the knife. The oil acts as a barrier between the metal, water, and oxygen, thus preventing it from rusting. I then put the knife in its leather sleeve and put it away. If that sounds complicated to you, idk what to tell you. It takes me less than 30 seconds to do all of that. (PS you're supposed to do this same thing with wooden/bamboo cutting boards) That is how you're supposed to take care of a knife. If you're going to use the knife, then give it a brief rinse and let it sit in your sink with water and food particles all night before you finally wash it the next day, your knife WILL rust no matter how expensive it is. If you don't want to take care of a metal knife, then go get those cheap cancerous non-stick knives from Walmart. My rant on that is over. Overall, the knife is amazing and has made me much more confident in the kitchen. Bonus, it came with a mini version of the knife which I was able to give to my girlfriend (it's actually insanely sharp so she is not allowed to use it).

Great knife!!
I use this knife often. It’s easy to use, looks great and easy to handle. It’s sharp out of the box but does require sharpening after use.

Well worth it
This beast is perfect for what I bought it for, plus for other things. I think it might even come in handy for the coming Apocalypse, if it ever gets here! For the quality, and the price you pay, it’s well worth the investment. I paid $4 more for this 5 years ago and it’s still in as good of shape as the day I received it. And the Sheath is great bonus.

Coltello a tutto codolo
Prodotto consigliato.

Magnífico cuchillo hecho a mano
