Shoreline Marine LED Fold Down Light

perfect for the money as well as for what I needed it for

I used only the light portion of the unit to adapt to my existing burned out LED. I drilled out the rivet to the light, cut the wires down low and re-soldered to existing light unit. Then sealed the unit and riveted it back together. Works great and new original equipment.

I was able to install this in a few minutes, it is very bright compared to the old light. Great value

Ok quality but the base is too wide to bit all three screws into my Bimini top, so two screws are working ok. I wish I could find stuff like this made out of cast bronze or aluminum.

I am looking forward to the greater reliability of the LED light. The other light was always problematic, not matter how I tried to keep the salt out of the bulb mechanism.

Easy install

I guess I wasn’t looking far enough into the description before I bought it. I needed a 3ft. length and I didn’t see it was 12” or so. I wasn’t sure it listed the length. This should be listed as a Pontoon Light.

Just a heads up... lay it down when not in use, so you don't hit it with your leg when getting in boat and break it. Yes, I did buy another one!!

I had to send this back as it was not long enough for what I wanted it for. There was nothing wrong withthe product i received other than it was too short a post.

bought this light for a 18' open Lund. although the light is very bright it seems a bit flimsy for my needs. would probably work better on a pontoon or boat with a wake tower.

This light is very small but very bright and as other review stated remember to fold the light down before getting in and out of the boat, but was able to glue it back together.
