Larry Gets Lost in Texas

One of our friends is moving out of Houston (and of US), and as a farewell gift we bought her daughter a couple of books:  Every Cowgirl Needs a Horse  and this one. This book about Larry has a perfect balance between a story of Larry getting lost and the "information" about multiple locations in Texas. The book covers many places: Big Bend, San Antonio, Dallas, Houston, etc. The trade-off of having so many places is that each of them gets only a small amount of text. Austin, for example, has only half page.All in all, we are very happy with this book, since we have liked the story, and it will be a great memory of Texas as a whole. I will probably buy the same one if I move out!

Such a cute book about a dog who lost his owner and travels around Texas to find him, and sees all kinds of cool places along the way!

I have been trying to find this book for years, for my father in law, Larry..it's the perfect gift. Thank you!

Great book for my 4 yr. old grandson, as we live in Texas and we have a dog named Larry!! It shows Larry in all the great vacation or tourist spots all over Texas!

Nice thick paper and cover, super cute story

My husband is from Texas and his family still lives there. We ordered the book and the text is just enough for our 2 year old and she loves the pictures.Great book, we will buy the Washington DC version when it comes out.
