I ordered one from Amazon years ago and it finally kicked the bucket. Reordered and was about to install the new one... decided to check the bad one one more time and voila! It works again. LOL I now have an extra.

I love this lamp- I mounted it on my headboard book case and the switch is perfect to turn off at night- it looks good - has a timer but i don't use it much, it was easy to install and stable- i put a piece of cardboard to protect the wood.

I really like the design and brightness of the light—it offers great illumination and can be positioned almost anywhere with ease. However, the USB plug is loose, which causes the light to flicker, dim, and adaptor become extremely hot. Unfortunately, it stopped working after two and a half years. I wish it had lasted longer.

This is a useful LED lamp and welcome addition to my small portable desk. The two spring loaded arms with table C-Clamp is a tried and true design. This lamp sports three lamp modes (warm light, warm white and white light) with 10 brightness settings for each. Was easy to un-box and setup. I use it pretty much every day/night. It is a good value at this price point ($24.99) and suites my needs. There are a couple things you might want to consider. 1) The lamp will rotate about its axis (360 degs), will pivot up and down (225 degs) but, wont pivot sideways so there is no way to keep it parallel to your desk. Keep this in mind if it matters to you. 2) You do need to have a wall plug or USB power nearby; in my case I use this lamp on a wheeled/portable table so I added a USB extension to accommodate some mobility. 3) The C-Clamp is a little wimpy, don’t be hard on it and it will serve you well. 4) The “Button Switch Control” is part of the cord; you might want to tape or bond it to a surface for easy access.

Update: Of the five of these lamps that I have either purchased for myself or were sent to me as replacement items from the seller, only ONE CONTINUES TO WORK. That is an 80% failure rate over 8 months. I have swapped out the power source for higher quality ones, I have tried different plugs and outlets, and nothing seems to bring these back from the dead. Absolute total garbage. Do not buy this product. Original review: I purchased two of these for my work at home set up. I really liked that I could dim them and change the light temperature easily. At first, they really fit the bill - they worked great. Then, in December, one of them stopped working. The lamp plugs in via USB to a wall charger (think the type you use to charge your cell phone). Despite trying every other wall charger in my house, I couldn't get the lamp to work again. Was the bulb burnt out? I wouldn't think so as I believe it's LED. The control switch to change the temperature and brightness isn't getting power, hence why I thought it may be the (cheap) power brick that came with it. So, I contacted the seller and after a bit of back and forth they sent me a new lamp. I was back in business! Until a few days ago when the OTHER lamp I had purchased stopped working as well. Same thing - no power to the control switch, no difference when I tried other wall chargers. It seems that the life span of these lamps is about four months. I'm assuming that the replacement that the seller sent me has about another three months left in it before it decides to not work as well. So, I'm going to go looking for other desk lamps. It's a bummer because I really like the articulation, adjustment, and features of these - but they simply don't last longer than four months it seems.

Love this lamp. I have 3 boys in 1 room and the youngest has been needing a lamp like his older brothers. We ended up giving this one to an older brother and giving the youngest an older lamp because this one was too "fancy"..it has lots of options from color of the light to how bright the light is. Really a great lamp. My 7 year old uses it to read at night on top bunk. Nice long cord too and reaches his bed just fine.
