Skull Shaver Bald Eagle Smart, Kit

Its awesome. Works very well. The charge usually last for 2 weeks if you shave your head and face every day. cleaning is easy. the only issues are sometimes it smells. If they can make a fully sealed version which can be used in the shower this would be a killer. March 6th 2017 Used this for last 6 months every day. I have used Philips shaver for last 12 years various models (all top end). This one is awesome. I had ordered replacement heads. The one that came the first time was not sharp enough and was pulling at my hair and was painful. But Skull Shaver Guys just sent me a another replacement free of cost. The second one works like a dream. Its smooth and slick. I have my shiny bald head back. Highly recommend this. There customer service is awesome. Skull Shaver YOU ROCK

The product works as advertised. The shave is not razor smooth but it "looks" smooth and that was my goal. I am however disappointed in the blades. I use the product every other day and have very fine hair so I should be an easy shave. I purchased the washing stand with the shaver and use it religiously as instructed. The device is just over a month old and the blades are already exhibiting a marked decrease in efficiency. They are advertised to last months, not a month. I'm not happy with the blade life. An update. It lasted 7 months and just stopped mid shave. The battery won't hold an charge and can't be replaced. Sorry I need this to last longer than 7 months. That's just unacceptable product life.

This product is one of the best investments i have made and getting the complete kit from Amazon at a reduced price was even better. I use it on both my head and face and it works perfectly. The charge sustains itself for the use as I charged it as per instructions and have been using it on and off for ab out three weeks now and have not had to charge it since. The shave is fairly close and not as close as an actual razor but it is great in that it looks that way. My hair grows extremely fast so this is just my experience. When in a hurry you can use it to get by shaving your face.and it is better on your head which it is made for. Versatile and compact, you cannot go wrong with this investment.

Quick, easy glide, relatively smooth shave (not as close as a blade or my foil). I like the curved feature of the blades. They track the contours of head and face nicely. Some pull if I let beard go more than a day-but warned of this in product literature. Have found it is much better with foam. i like design as it fits hand nicely. Easy to rinse. Full charge took me through a week. Only about a week in. should get better as skin gets conditioned. Will use on a daily basis and use foil or blade if I need an extra clean and close shave. Overall a nice product. Five stars if they get RPMS up and a closer shave.

Received my Skull Shaver/kit back on Sept. 15, but I wanted to give it a few weeks' worth of testing before reviewing it. Product instructions directed me to charge the Shaver for a few hours before my first use, so I did (about 6 hours). Since that day, I have not had to recharge the Shaver yet. The battery indicator tells me there's about a 60% charge still left. I have been shaving my head (just my skull, not my face) with the Skull Shaver regularly, every 2 to 3 days. The Shaver has performed perfectly. It's comfortable to use (I use Neutrogena Skin Clearing shave cream). After a few "passes" I rinse the shaving heads under hot running water, to rinse away little bits of loose hair. Shaving my whole head (very thoroughly) usually takes 5 to 6 minutes. After a few shaves (every third or fourth shave; I haven't really kept track) I'll pour about an inch of rubbing alcohol into the Rinse Stand, enough to just submerge the Shaver blades. Then I'll place the Shaver in the stand and let it run for about 10-20 seconds. This REALLY works well to clear out loose bits of hair/shave cream/whatever else may be inside the blade housings. I am very pleased with this product. With just a little (very simple) "routine maintenance", it performs like a champ.

** UPDATE 5/26/17 ** Today my Skull Shaver is no longer functioning properly. The LCD display stopped working and the unit is cycling the motor on and off when charging - I suspect a faulty charging circuit. Contacted customer service for an exchange. I have downgraded my rating to 2 stars because I am certain that the next unit will also fail me. I will then be out of warranty, and out of luck! The unit, when working, does a great job. It is a shame the company is not able to produce a more robust unit. Excited to have found a product that shaves my head closely and is convenient to use. In the 2 weeks of use it has proven to shave almost as close as a razor with none of the irritation or inconvenience that comes with blade shaving. Unfortunately, this is the part of the review where the accolades stop. The power plug (female) has a male prong attached, and the main shave unit is now missing a prong (refer to pictures attached to this review). I will not delve into the minutia of my interactions with Skull Shaver as a corporation except to say that customer service was amateurish at best. I advise readers to deal with Amazon should an issue arise with their purchase. Full disclosure: I did return the defective unit to Amazon and immediately ordered another unit with hopes that the product does not suffer similar issues.

This is my second bald eagle device, with the first one being an earlier model that ran to end of useful life. This one does a nice job shaving my head, more so when it's used every 3-4 days at most. The primary problem I've had, which I think others have noticed as well, is that about six months after purchase, the battery started to discharge within about 1-2 minutes of actual use, starting from a full charge. I can charge it fully, which takes some time, turn it on, and then I'm suddenly using the cord with the device to finish the shave since there is no battery power left, which makes the device itself a lot less useful. I've contacted Skull Shaver via email to see if this is covered under any sort of support/warranty. If not, I'll probably look at alternatives. Bottom line, you might want to read other reviews and see any other comments about battery life, since this device is not cheap. Update: I contacted Skull Shaver and they authorized a return, which I took them up on. I received a new head unit in about a week. It's too early to know if the battery is better, but the customer service experience was a good one in that regard.

I will; start by saying this...the shave is great, as close as any rechargeable can get. Used it for about two weeks without recharging. Excellent customer service. However, when you have to use that excellent service after five week, that is a problem. After about 5 weeks, I attempted to use the razor and it worked for five seconds and went off. I thought maybe I left it on and charged it and nothing happened. I saw a red light on in the window and called. They said a drop of water must have gotten in so send it back and we will replace it (which they did inside of 5 business days). Problem is, you need to clean it in water. If it can't take a rogue drop, what good is cleaning it in water??? I will wait and see if this was an exception or the rule. Will update at a future date. PS My son also purchased one rt after me and has had no issues. UPDATE May 31 2017. In one year I have replaced the unit two more times since the original purchase. The first replacement lasted until one month ago and died. They sent a new one and said it is a new manufacturer. The replacement lasted three weeks, shutting off when first starting and then running about 5-6 shaves before needing recharge. They are sending my fourth one and that will be it for me. Warranty is up next month and when this one fails (notice I didn't say if), I will move on. Great shave when it works and responsive customer service but they need to get this right.

En quelques minutes se raser la tete. Et pas un poil qui tombe parterre. Avant, je me rasait 1 fois par semaine avec une tondeuse babyliss. Tres chiant, prenait bcp de temps. Poils partout. Du coup, prenait aussi bcp de temps pour nettoyer. En fait, avec le tondeuse, je me rasait 1 fois par semaine, car c'etait tres chiant (j'avais juste pas envie de le faire). La, avec le skull shaver, ca prend 2 minutes. Apres, faire tourner le shaver en eau (dans le petit bac qui vient avec) et le tour est jouee. Tout propre. Et tout ca (bac plus shaver) est tres petit, alors ca prend quasiment pas de place. J'espere il va marcher pour longtemps, avant tomber en panne (voir autres commentaires). Mais pour le moment c'est geniale

Même si sa forme le destine plus particulièrement aux adeptes de la boule à zéro, ce rasoir convient parfaitement pour se rasez la barbe. Dans cet exercice, il se révèle aussi bon (ou, du moins, pas plus mauvais...) que les rasoirs à lames rotatives classiques (type Philips). En clair : moins bien, à mon avis, que les systèmes à vibreurs (type Braun) et, de toute façon, très loin de la qualité de rasage d'un rasoir manuel du genre Gilette Fusion Proglide. En revanche, il est vrai que, pour le prix, la qualité de présentation du Skull Shaver est un peu limite.

This is a good product as it does what it is meant to do efficiently, regrettably only for 11 months. Then the battery fails, for a while you can use it only by using it whilst connected to the mains, then finally dies. One could say, this is just bad luck... and it would be a fair point, only that, this is my second one and the previous one... yes you guessed right, died also after 11 months, give or take a couple of weeks. So, if you feel that the amount of money is well spent for a product that will last you that amount of time, then go ahead.

J'ai pu me raser la tête 3 fois après la batterie étant plate je dois le recharger , l'écran ne s'allume plus et la batterie ne se charge plus, c'est dommage le rasage est bien mais ce problème de batterie fait que ce produit est impossible à utilisé dans le tps. Je vais donc le renvoyer
