This model is not designed with removable snares but we do have other models (SCP100AWA and SCP100WN) that allow you to turn the snares on and off. We also now offer a PA-CAJ cajon preamp that allows you to add a preamp to any of our cajons. Hope that helps!

No, I don’t believe so. I don’t see any adjustments on mine.

I don’t have a problem. I’m not the most knowledgeable but I play cajon for my church worship team and it sounds pretty good!
