Lunderg Bedpan Liners with Super Absorbent Pads - Value Pack 30 Count

I'm using these in conjunction with a fracture bedpan, and I have to say I'm shocked that they actually work as advertised! They're extremely easy to use, they're very absorbent--and they eliminate the 'ick' factor of cleaning up a soiled bedpan. Just slip one on over the bedpan, pull its drawstrings so the liner stays put, lay one of the absorbent pads into the [covered] bedpan, and that's that. When pottying needs are finished, carefully pull the covered bedpan out from under the person, and begin to remove the liner. Keep in mind that it's a bag with drawstrings at the top as you're removing it--visualizing what it is helps remove it correctly. Start by loosening its drawstrings. Then grasp the top of the liner [the side that's under the bedpan], lift the bedpan slightly and pull that end away from the other drawstring, pulling the liner under the bedpan. As you bring it out from under the bedpan, bring it up and over the part containing waste; as you bring the two drawstring ends toward each other, it'll regain its shape as a bag. Now you can pull its drawstrings closed, then toss it in the trash. No fuss, no muss. Please note if you're an environmentalist (like I am): yes,, this is plastic and it is adding waste to our landfills. Sorry, but if you're ever in a situation where you cannot get up and wash your own soiled bedpan...well, I hope you're never in that situation. Or if you're a caregiver and really, REALLY dread washing a bedpan repeatedly, you'll understand. My only complaint is the scent--I don't like it. I'd prefer unscented. (But I didn't decrease its rating for that.) It's not awful, and it's not overwhelming or anything, so I can live with it. Also, the size of the liners looked shockingly small when I first pulled them out of the box. They work fine with a fracture pan, but I'm not sure how well they'd work with a regular bedpan. One last thing: its box literally fell apart at one point! I reached in to get a liner and pad, and the whole box just undid itself, spilling its contents all over the place, i.e., all the flaps came undone and, much like Humpty Dumpty, could not be put back together again...

This is a lifesaver for bedpan users. Easy clean up and basically keeps hands clean.

The concept is fantastic! The liners work well. Sometimes when placing patient on bedpan the plastic sticks and it becomes a little more difficult. Also, sometimes removing the patient the plastic sticks and it causes some of the contents to spill. I have used a bed pan with and without liners. Cleanup is so much easier with the liners. Overall, they work good. The cost is very high for us, but we continue to find a way to maintain this routine.

These are top of the line for commodes. Saves money because it really controls odors and allows for less frequent changing of the commode liner bags (which are top of the line, too). Easy to clean, fit right, work wonderfully! Never a spill or accident with this combo.

My mother was bed ridden and this was really functional and the durability was great. The ease of cleaning this vs the pan alone was a game changer. Great value for the money. It really helped in hard times. I absolutely reccomend anyone who has anyone bed ridden or just need it.

I use these with a bedpan for urine. I have found that each package has a few bags that leak slightly. I've found it's a good idea to hold it up to light before using it. The ones that don't have slight leaks work very well, and the drawstring tie makes it much tidier to dispose them. The absorbent pads that come with them work very well.

After going through several products that failed time after time, I tried this product as a last resort. Bingo!! This has almost completely eliminated the need to change bed pads after each usage, This has gone a long way in reducing the humiliation I have felt being in the situation for another 12 weeks. Very absorbent and easy to use. Makes using a bedpan a breeze. Convenient and no mess to deal with. Just pick it up and toss (yes it is another plastic bag but what else would you use? Cloth diapers would be a mess and much longer to deal with especially at night. If you could get up to the toilet- you would. Bed bound people do not have that choice.

Invaluable for use with bedpans. Makes using them cleaner and easier. The bag is string and reliable feeling, with drawstrings that help with both fitting and preparation for use, then disposal after use. The scent is a bit strong for some but they work really well at controlling the liquid content after use.

We are not a big user of the bedpan, but when we are, we never want to not have these. They make cleanup simple and there is no liquid mess from urine either. Now one of our must haves

I had been using another brand that came in a roll with perforations that were difficult to work with. These come in a box individually packaged and so are the inset pads. So easy to use at the bedside and they won’t tear easily. Really smart packaging and a quality product.
