Absolutely work perfectly while sitting on my back pation. I live in Houston, need I say more about mosquitoes...that were swarming the patio when I moved in. I constantly had to spray down with some sort of repellent which just wasn't economical, healthy, nor cute lol. I was hesitant but jumped on a buy. Glad I had, I press the power button about 5-10 minutes prior to go chill and smoke and the bugs are gone or leaving. There's no smell to me and covers my whole 6X20ish patio. I actually can keep my back door open and nothing comes in. It's long lasting as far as the liquid as well as the battery. The first one I forgot to turn off a few times and the refill still lasted fairly long. One time I left it one overnight and I suppose it turned off (not sure b/c I think the battery was one dot) and it still had lots of liquid inside. Now after work I turn it on around 5ish, might have a cig or not but go back inside and cook and other after work stuff. Go in and out the back and it's lite, no bugs, or anything...turn it off before bed sometimes 10 or 11 and seems to last weeks. Great product honestly! This was the first refill pack I bought after the initial use. They have me hooked as a customer as long as it keeps the bugs away and convenient as it is. I would suggest a manual timer for off and on as well as a liquid level indicator so not wondering if it's empty or not. But something tells me you'll know, when the bugs come a buzzing.

These are a little pricey, but they really work. I use mine on the deck while watching TV in the evenings, and I don’t have to worry about mosquitoes anymore. They provide excellent protection and have made spending time outside so much more enjoyable.

I've been using the Thermacell E,Series E65 for a while now, and it's honestly one of the best purchases I've made for spending time outside. I used to get eaten alive by mosquitoes every time I sat on my deck, grilled, or went camping. Now I just turn this on, wait about 15 minutes, and the difference is amazing. I still might see an occasional mosquito flying around, but they don't bother me or try to bite. It really does create a nice little protection zone. Setup couldn't be much easier. I charged it with the included USB cable, popped in the repellent cartridge, and it was ready to go. The battery lasts a long time, and I haven't had any issues taking it from the backyard to the campsite or even to a picnic. It's lightweight and easy to toss into a backpack without taking up much room. One of my favorite things is not having to spray bug repellent all over myself. No greasy skin, no overpowering smell, and no worrying about getting bug spray on my clothes. It's just a much better experiance overall, especially when you're outside for hours. I also bought the refill pack with the 3 cartridges, and they last a long time. I like not having to constantly order replacements, and it's nice knowing I have extras ready to go. The only downside is the price. The refills work fantastic, but they're definitely expensive for what they are. I wish Thermacell would lower the cost a bit because you'll eventually need to replace them if you use the device often. Still, I'd rather pay for refills than deal with mosquito bites every weekend. Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. It's easy to use, portable, and it actually does what it promises. Even with the pricey refills, I'd buy it agian because it makes being outdoors so much more enjoyable.

As someone who loves the outdoors and isn't a fan of deet Thermacell is a lifesaver! It's silent, odorless, and has the ability to create a mosquito-free protected area. It's so easy to use, it's portable, safe for pets, and the replacements come in convenient multipacks. The cartridges also last a long time (120 hours for the three pack). I use Thermacell on my back deck, while camping, and even bring it on my bike to set up when I make stops. It makes my summer so much more pleasant.

An effective way to deter mosquitos but needs regular refills which have become somewhat costly.

My wife and I have sweet blood, so mosquitoes regularly target us when out and about. We normally use Deet to fend them off, but it's pretty potent stuff, so I decided to try Thermacell. What a great product. Repellant is no longer needed, and the range on the Thermacell is impressive, and it lasts for hours. We can hang out on the patio, enjoying our fireplace while playing games, and we don't have to worry about coming in with bites all over. I'm especially excited to try it out while camping in a couple of weeks.

I love these mosquito repellant devices. They actually work! They have no smell and you can avoid spraying chemicals on your skin or in the area. No flames or reapplication. I am loving the 3 pack for refills. The more the merrier in my opinion as these are my go to way to stop my family and I from getting eaten by mosquitos! They are easy to install and mess free. Recommended for all!

The Thermacell E-ZoneGuard refill works as expected and keeps the mosquito repellent device running effectively. I had no issues with performance, but I was honestly surprised by how small the refill package was. Based on the price, I expected a larger box with more refills included. The biggest downside is the cost. Depending on how often you use the device, these refills can last less than a week, making the ongoing expense add up quickly. While the product does a good job repelling mosquitoes, I wish Thermacell offered better value with more refills per package or a lower price. Overall, it works, but be prepared for the recurring refill cost before investing in the system.

This misquotes repplent did absolutely nothing—mosquitoes were still everywhere. No noticeable effect at all. I regret buying it and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
