Is this product organic?

No it is not. And there are no true organic zincs. The products that are organic - the only thing that classifies them as organic is the organic vegetable glycerin in the product (to note, we use water instead of glycerin as our base). For a product to be certified organic by the USDA the product has to be 95% organic ingredients by volume. so the organic zinc products such as Vimergy - the only thing that makes them organic is the fact the product is 95% organic vegetable glycerin. The Zinc itself is not organic and there are no forms of Zinc that could be classified as organic. We use water as the base instead of vegetable glycerin. We only point this out because we feel these brands are being highly deceptive. The only thing making the product organic is the vegetable glycerin. We use water as the base instead of vegetable glycerin. It is a better medium for delivering the minerals into the body.

The label indicates only 10 mg per 5 drop serving size. Is that correct? If so, this is a very low dose. To get 50 mg, 25 drops?

Yes that is correct. But we only advise such large single doses in very rare cases - specifically if advised by your doctor for a Zinc deficiency. As a friendly note, the liquid zinc sulfate form has an extremely high absorption rate - so such large doses have a much higher uptake than capsules. I hope this helps. I used this for a while, and the taste has changed over time—started out bitter, now it tastes almost chalky. Is this normal?

That actually has to do with the Zinc levels in your body. As the Zinc levels in your body increase over continued use, the taste of zinc changes. Placing minerals on your tongue and seeing what it tastes like is actually a way of testing whether your deficient or not... Im not sure how much your taking or how consistently you have been taking but you can consider changing your dose because the stored levels in your body have changed. Does ionic zinc the same as zinc ionophore?

From our understand zinc ionophores are not actually Zinc but Zinc transporters within the body. The zinc ionophores are essentially like shuttle systems that move Zinc into cells where it can have antiviral effects. But ionic zinc sulfate (which this product is) is show to have optimal interaction with the Zinc ionophore in order to get the Zinc into cells.

I take my daily supplements in the morning, and this ionic liquid zinc fits easily into that routine. When I’m done, I just use the remaining water in my glass, add 5 drops of the zinc, and bottoms up. It’s simple, adjustable, and easy to take. There is a clear inconsistency between my previous bottle purchase and the one I just received My new product is showing a foggy liquid with what appears to be little bits of white stringy substances and of course metal lookinb substances at the bottom Clearly questioning the contamination of this product regardless of what they claim the facility its prepped in. Ionic Zinc is meant to be much clearer than this. Do better guys

Update: something just dawned on me. It's DROPS not DROPPERFULS. Ok no wonder I was having such a hard time. That's embarrassing, but if it saves someone else from overdosing themselves I'll just leave this here. I'm sure it'll still taste bad, but I'm sure it cannot be any worse than when I was trying to take 5 dropperfuls! Update: I found a way to make it taste better.... pour a shot glass full of sprite and mix in 1-2 dropperfuls of the zinc. Plug your nose and down the hatch it goes. Way better than water or tea. And I want less liquid to mix it in. No one likes a slow death. It better be good for me because it tastes so terrible I tried mixing it in sweet tea and it tastes terrible. Hoping it turns my gray hairs brown and prolong my skin care routine from the dermatologist
