Beistle Red Polyester Carpet Runner

This was a hit for my daughters 6 barbie bday sleep over. I saw reviews about how the adhesive was really tacky and sticky and went with the decision to stick it on top of my extra carpet that I had left over from when I got my carpet laid in my house. Glad I did! When I laid it down by pilling the adhesive off, Hunnie it did not move. I do not know what kind of adhesive it is so if by any chance PLEASE avoid putting it on any of your hard wood or even carpet that you want and try to find something that you can spare to waste. I did not use every adhesive more like the front and end and everyone other one in between. It held up sturdy. After the party was over I pulled the carpet up and have not been able to remove the adhesive strips from the spare carpet. A couple are still on my carpet and it's been weeks later..LOL!

Did exactly what it was supposed to do; a cheap and fun "Hey you rolled out the red carpet!" effect. Brilliant red in color, quite long. It is made of that paper like cloth material, not "carpet" at all. It won't stand up to many uses, but...if you want a carpet, spent 20x more for a real-no kidding carpet! It comes on a roll, so you can just roll it out. The other comments about how sticky the tape is -- absolutely true! Having read those remarks, I just peeled off maybe 1/4 of the backing to expose just a little bit of the tape, and it worked fine. After the grand entrance, I rolled it back up neatly on the roll, stored it, and with the left over tape I can use it "like new" at least four more times. Again, this is for the effect of "ha ha a red carpet!" you can walk on it, but it isn't for heavy use at all. Great value for the price; the price is good for fun.

We hosted a VIP Red Carpet party. I had ordered another red isle runner but started to doubt that it would be long enough. So last minute I ordered this one thinking that it was the same as the one that I had previously ordered. When we were setting up I was so wrong. The previous carpet was horrible, it was thin and had holes in it throughout. This one was thick, it had a sticky tape on the back to fasten it to the floor. It was a rich red color, and it was less expensive! I am so happy that I ordered this one!

This isle runner was used at my daughter's birthday party. I hot glue gunned rose petals on the edges, and it all worked great. It is slightly see-through, which I didn't expect from looking at the picture, but for the price, it certainly served the purpose and created a grand entrance for the guests. The tape to adhere to the floor was sticky enough to ensure the runner stayed in place, and it came up easily enough without damaging the carpet or leaving residue behind. Also, there were several points of adhesion throughout the runner, so it created little room for someone to trip, which was important with 2 year olds running around. The quality was decent enough that I think I can get one more use out of this product before it's history. Great price for the use.

This product was used as a walkway for the bride at our recent at home wedding. It is thin cheap plastic with a slick down side and a velour like walking surface. It has 3" tape patches about 2' apart on each side to secure it to the floor and avoid a slip. When the runner was taken up, surprisingly, a thick red tape residue remained on our tile floor. Luckily it did not on the carpeted area. The residue had to remain on the tile flooring through out our wedding as it would not come off easily. The next day I was able to scrap if off with the aid of GooGone and a sharpend putty knife. This was not a quick or easy process. It's amazing the retailer continues to carry this miserable product. Avoid it and this retailer, they clearly have zero customer appreciation.

This is a great little runner for parties. However USE YOUR OWN TAPE!!! Our floor are destroyed because of the ridiculous adhesive they use on this carpet. It took a few hours of scrubbing and wiping with goo gone, nail polish remover and pure lemon essential oils to remove the adhesive and there is still residue on the floor. There is absolutely no reseal to use that strong of adhesive for something like this. Or at least put a warning on the package.

Was perfect for prom

We were having a "Hollywood Red Carpet" party for my daughter's 11th birthday party and needed a red carpet for our front entry way of our house. After reading the reviews, I decided to get this one. I am so glad we did... I was really impressed with the quality of the product. It comes with double sided tape, but I did not want to use that on my laminate wood floors, so I used green painters tape to tape the bottom side down. The carpet didn't move and even when all the girls "walked the red carpet" it stayed in perfect condition. This comes rolled up and my fear was that when I rolled it out it wouldn't stay down, it laid perfectly on the floor. I also thought this would be a one time use item, but after the party, I was able to roll it back up and will be able to use it again. I would highly recommend for anyone needing that "red carpet touch" for their next party.

This item is a great little cheap disposable item... When it arrived it was what I'd paid for, nothing more, nothing less.. don't be deceived when opening, it actually looks the part when put down... Did the job perfectly...

Very good and cheap runner. Will look excellent for a party we are having.
