Holy Hydration! Daily Cleanser

This is one of my favorite facial cleansers, and I always repurchase it. The texture is smooth and refreshing, and it works wonderfully to remove excess oil without over-drying the skin. I love the results it leaves. My skin feels clean, soft, and balanced after every use. It’s gentle enough for daily use and does not cause any irritation or allergic reactions, which is very important for sensitive skin. Overall, it’s an excellent product with great quality for the price. Effective, soothing, and reliable

I absolutely love this cleanser. My introduction to e.l.f. came from a free gift pack at a casino, but the moment I smelled this daily cleanser, I knew I needed more. Honestly, I probably would have bought it for the scent alone—but it also happens to be an excellent cleanser. It easily removes makeup and excess oil and leaves my skin feeling clean, soft, and very smooth. When I came to Amazon to buy a full-size bottle, the $5 (at the time) price made me expect something tiny like the sample I’d received. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s actually a good-sized bottle that lasts me about five weeks. Between the quality, the scent, and the price, I’m officially a lifelong e.l.f. user.

I’ve been using the e.l.f. Skin Cleanser for 2 years now, and I’m seriously impressed! It has a gentle formula that leaves my skin feeling super clean without any dryness or tightness. The texture is smooth and lightweight, and it lathers up nicely with just a small amount. I love how refreshing it feels—perfect for both morning and night routines. The hyaluronic acid is so hydrating with the added ceramides to lock in moisture. It’s been great for my sensitive skin. For such an affordable price, the quality is amazing. My skin feels softer, looks clearer, and I love that it’s cruelty-free and vegan too. Definitely a new staple in my skincare routine!

Since I started using various e.l.f. products to cut costs, I decided to try the Daily Cleanser to see how it stacks up to my current cleanser that is almost empty. My skin has a tendency to go from dry to oily seemingly overnight (most likely due to weather changes & humidity) and sometimes referred to as “combination” skin. I am not a heavy makeup user so there’s no eye shadow, liner or mascara to remove on a daily basis (just foundation, brows/cheeks/lips makeup plus any pollution accumulation). None of my makeup is designated as “waterproof” so the difficulty level to remove makeup is not high. The cleanser itself has a very slight neutral scent and lightweight gel to foam texture that is not too thick or too runny. I squeezed about a nickel size amount to have my face fully lathered up and foamy. Using only my hands, there was no need for sponges or cloths to scrub or remove makeup and dirt. The foam & ingredients are not abrasive so it is safe and gentle enough to use on sensitive skin without burning, redness, or irritation. My skin doesn’t feel oily/greasy afterwards, but it also does not feel tight and dry like all my natural oils have been stripped out as some users have reported. It’s hard to explain, but it leaves my skin feeling clean yet balanced, just not clean and invigorated as I'm used to (both of which are good). I guess it depends on your type of skin, the condition of your skin when you start off using the product, and what you’re accustomed to. Overall, you can’t beat the $6 price tag for a facial cleanser that is gentle on your skin, actually cleans and removes dirt/oil & makeup, and also hydrates. Of course, this is only one step in your skincare process and not the only step in the process. If you have dry skin you’ll need to followup up with your daily moisturizer and if you have very oily skin to use an astringent/toner before moving forward. I’m relatively new to using e.l.f. skincare products, but I am impressed with what they’ve accomplished quality wise while keeping their products at an affordable price point for all of us. 5 Stars!!! I have pretty sensitive skin that gets tight and dry with most cleansers. I decided to try this one out 3 weeks before my wedding, which was a bold move for me since I am prone to break outs and redness. However, the reviews convinced me I was going to be okay, and I was! This cleanser suds up a lot and cleans really well without making my skin feel too tight. It does still feel a little tight before I put on a moisturizer, but less so than I’ve experienced with other cleansers. It doesn’t cause any redness or irritation for me, and I haven’t noticed any dryness on my face. I haven’t seen any improvement in my skin’s texture like I was hoping I would, but I think this is a solid choice as a cleanser. I can build my routine off of this one as my base which is exciting to say. 4 stars because I feel like with a name of “holy hydration” my face shouldn’t feel even a little tight, but it’s honestly so minimal it’s whatever. This is still a keeper.

My skin is usually on the dry side, but this cleanser feels light and still keeps my skin from drying out. I have been on a long skincare journey for years, and it has definitely become expensive, so I am trying to scale back on high-priced products. The value of this cleanser is exactly what I needed. It works well, feels gentle, and makes my routine simple without sacrificing quality.

My usual No Animal Cruelty cleanser seemed to have disappeared. Because I like ELF’s products I thought I might give this a try. I am not at all disappointed and actually find it easier to apply and use much less of it. I’m an older person and it keeps my skin is soft while removing the day’s makeup. Do I look younger? Don’t think so!

It smells delicious and not too overpowering. Only need a small amount and leave my skin really clean and soft. Great value for money

Ich würde am liebsten das gesamte e.l.f Sortiment kaufen, weil sie komplett vegan sind und damit sehr sympathisch. Auf meiner Haut zeigt Holy Hydration! Daily Cleanser leider nicht so unbedingt Verbesserungen bzw. er trocknet zu sehr aus, Cleanser Funktion ist daher top da sehr gründlich, aber ich brauche einfach eher Produkte, die auf besonders sensible Haut abgestimmt sind. Vielleicht habe ich einfach nicht so den passenden Hauttyp für den Cleanser, aber das kann bei anderen viel besser funktionieren. Was viele angemerkt haben: Ich fand den Duft überhaupt nicht störend, er verfliegt auch relativ schnell. Denke für ölige Gesichtstypen könnte der Cleanser was sein. Ich werde es bestimmt irgendwann versuchen, wieder ein e.l.f Produkt auszuprobieren, aber aktuell wohl noch nicht.
