Does this come sharpened for a left handed person?

No, it is for a right-handed person only, unless you want to carve towards yourself (and not be able to use your opposite thumb for support).

Can i get just the main side sharpened? Not the back? The back flat?

it is only sharpened on one side. The other is completely flat

Is there a sheath to store the knife in safely?

It comes with a flimsy, transparent plastic sheath (see my photos). However, if you have acess to a 3D printer, I made a hard cap for it. File is available on Thingiverse. Search for "Kiridashi cap"

Would this be an appropriate knife to use for kolrosing?

I can’t say for sure as this is the first time I’ve ever heard of kolrosing. The knife is extremely sharp and in my experience holds an edge well. However, it is made to cut along only one edge (If you hold a straight edge with your left hand and use your right hand to scribe a line using the right edge of the straight edge it is great. However, it would be very difficult to use the the knife in your left hand on the left side of the straightedge).
