STYLE EDIT Root Touch Up, Perfection Light Blonde, 4 Gram

Over priced and ineffective. I read all reviews, followed the application instructions diligently and I’m sorry to say but this product is poor. My roots are mid/light brown and my coloured hair is ash blonde. The product is similar to powdered foundation that you would use from a compact. It’s matte on application and despite being very careful with application it will at the end of the day, end up on your scalp leaving a dark tan line. It simply didn’t cover my roots at all. I’m baffled as to why so many other people say it works. Please don’t waste your money!

This stuff is great! My natural hair s a medium brown, but I’ve been a bright blonde for over twenty years. I need to get my roots professionally done every 4-6 weeks! Since the COVID-19 quarantine, I have not been able to get my roots done, and I refuse to bleach them myself. This Style Edit root powder has been a game changer (wish I knew about this all these blonde years!). I have to do work videos, etc and my root growth is bad! This is a light powder, and although very temporary (washed right out, or it pretty much is gone in the morning) it does the job! Covers not only gray, but DARK roots on blonde hair! It’s a quick pick-me-up, and doesn’t leave greasy weight on your hair like some color sprays do. Although not an essential product, it arrived really quickly! I can’t live without this now, I will be stockpiling this as long as I am a blonde! *I only rated four stars for value for money because there is not a lot in the little package. Although you only need a few pats on the roots with the sponge, I’ve been using it daily. After only two weeks, I’ve used up most of it. But will continue to purchase!!

I had previously bought something for Blonde root touch ups, they never worked. They definitely were not Blonde. This product does the job. There is powder in the jar , and the bottm of the container has a small round powder applicator. You just dab the applicator into the powder and then on your roots. It really does the job. I recommend this Root Powder !

My hair dresser recommended I get something that would temporarily touch up my roots until she could start taking appointments. I read the reviews on this and decided to try it. The first time I put it on too light and it really didn't do much. The next time I put on a double layer and when I stepped back, I was so amazed at how well it covered up my salt and pepper new growth on top and around my face. I am using Light Blond and it matches my color well. Up close you can see it is not shiny but far away, I can't tell that it is there. I keep looking at myself in the mirror and it looks like I just got my hair done. And it stays on until I wash it off. I am going to see how it looks after another month of growth. If it still looks good, I could save some money by having hair appointments less often.

Did not work well at all. I’m a very blond and super highlighted person with dark roots. After wiping and dabbing it MANY times to load up the applicator it didn’t cover my brown roots. For the price, I had to return it.

I used the light brown Style Edit on my level 8 strawberry blonde hair for years, so when I upgraded to L9.5 highlights, I tried the Style Edit lightest blonde to cover my greys. On its own, lightest blonde struggles to cover grey—it covers the white hair but not the dark hair, which just looked odd. I solved the problem by powdering my greys with the old light brown color, sponging very close to my part, then blending the lightest blonde over the light brown with a smaller brush. No grey roots, even in direct sunlight!
