In a volume that spans several eras of Crossed infection, we join three prolific writers each telling a tale set in the horrifying misery of the world during the plague. Simon Spurrier puts us in the mind of a unique Crossed relationship, one which sees lovers from two different worlds as they are driven apart by infection. David Lapham continues fan favorite Crossed Psychopath survivor, Amandaโs tale as she fights with the rising insanity in her own mind and a group of lunatic scavengers in โThe Livers.โ And series creator Garth Ennis returns to tell a story so big that it re-defines the way you will see the Crossed. In โThe Fatal Englishmanโ the biggest question in the Crossed universe is answeredโฆhow it all begins. Go where other horror survival stories fear to tread and enter the grueling world of the Crossed! Trade collects issues #19-28 of the Crossed Badlands series. Review: Read Crossed: Psychopath first! - Loaded with content. One of the biggest trades to date with quality matching quantity. Fantastic read. Includes three arcs. The Fatal Englishmen was a fantastic read with an arc style that I've been wanting for a while. If you started to wonder "where's all the super soldiers and what are they doing" here's your answer. Fantastic story. The Livers arc follows a key character from the Psychopath arc and was a very welcome update that took a turn I never expected that dives primarily into mental condition rather than strict physical survival. I'm happy to see they kept this character alive in the lore and performed so well in her follow up. Then the final arc. A short sweet very satisfying extra story that leaves you a slight sense of wonderment and really makes this Trade a necessity. Conquers All is a love story unlike any you've ever seen. I'll save the rest for you to discover, just know it's great. This would make a killer short film. Review: The big draw here is that we get to see ... - The big draw here is that we get to see Amanda again in a series that largely does not revisit old storylines and characters, and see what happened to her after her encounter with Lorre. As always, the nature of the violence is graphic and sadistic but what's more interesting is seeing how the survivors cope after the Crossed outbreak has been out for so long. Then the third main story takes place shortly after the outbreak with a Romeo and Juliet type of plot, but is still fascinating to see what goes on through these characters' minds.

This is like a contest....
For the writers to out "WTF?!!?!?!" one another. Some pretty gruesome and gross stuff going on here. Definitely not for children. I think that should be obvious even from the cover. This book just seems like it was made for nothing else than shock value and to let Garth Ennis just do whatever he wanted and see what sickness he could come up with. It's not really a great story, very Walking Dead-ish. If it was more X-rated for violence.

I love crossed they never disappoint me
I love crossed they never disappoint me! It's wild from start to finish with a usually great story line! And always great drawings. The visuals are perfect every time.

Compelling and thought provoking
One of my favourites out of the series and is by far the most intelligently written with interesting stories and topics regarding patriotism, religion, trauma and love. Also we pick up on the story of a previous character!
