I was very worried about hanging my prize possession - a print of my own on a massive 1.5 long frame that weighs a lot! I only use these now to hang anything heavy. They are super secure preventing accidentally knocking it off the hook - the extra latch does the job! They are super easy to install and then place the frame, and are very durable for their small size and weight, especially considering I hung a heavy frame! The trick with all of these is to ensure the fixing to the wall is sufficient, so don’t skimp on what you use! My only comment is that the diameter of the holes in these is quite small, so I did try to use a larger fixing but it didn’t fit, however I think that was probably overkill because I found a smaller fixing that worked fine in the end.

With many pictures in our home, and many paintings in frames that are heavy, not only did I feel concerned about the weight of a cord simply sitting on a screw head or masonry nail, there was the lack of security against it being knocked off the wall, possibly by the cleaner. These hooks have changed all that. It didn't take long with a laser level and percussion drill to have a room levelled perfectly with these hooks, and guiding the cord of each picture onto each hook is now so simple, as you can come to it from further out and when hooked, it will not be coming off easily without purposely lifting the cord from the hook. The fixing itself and the thickness of the steel means that these hooks will hold extremely heavy picture with no worries at all. I initially bought a pack of six to see how it went, but will now be buying more. These are superb and provide exactly the peace of mind I've always wanted for my pictures. Very highly recommended.

These are truly heavy duty. Only downside is that the screws are a bit long - but maybe a good thing as the hooks can take some serious weight. Only reason I gave 4 stars is my walls are solid and took a while to drill deep enough for the screws to be fully in.

Worked great for me handing a big frame up size of an ordnance server map. So quiet heavy with the frame and glass, worked great and felt better know there was something so sturdy holding it up.
