onlyfire Spark Generator 1 Male Outlet "AAA" Battery Push Button Ignitor

Got this for a charbroil single ignition 4 burner performance grill. Could not find one anywhere and was skeptical about this one because I was afraid the thread size was going to be too large. But it fits perfect and works perfect as far as firing up the grill. The single wire is standard(same exact connection as the charbroil performance connection). The only thing that I found odd, and this was probably my fault somehow, but the button shocked me several times while sparking it. I screwed it in tighter and it seems to have quit shocking me. So, I believe it's just that it isn't grounded properly if not tightened enough, and that somehow causes it to arc back through the button, which is odd because my other igniters don't do that. On the other ones you can have the device not connected to the grill and just be holding it, pushing the button and observing the spark without getting shocked. Either way, I gave it 5 stars. It showed up very quickly. I installed it in about 1 minute. It fits the hole. The wire fits. It lites the grill quickly. If there was another con, it would have to be that the pulse isn't rapid. But it lit. So it's fine with me. Hope this helps someone.

Easy installation. Installed on my Even Embers flat top griddle in a few minutes. Works great.

Make sure you measure the diameter of the mounting hole on your grill.

Exactly what I needed for my Brinkmann 2600 Pro Series. I was contemplating buying a new grill this year as my Brinkmann is showing some signs of age. The door was loose, the starter stopped working, and the burners are rusted. Well after a few minor improvements with items bought on Amazon, the grill is back to its former glory and I couldn't be happier. Plus having saved well over a thousand dollars not purchasing a new one, I can cook all the prime meat I want this summer! This Spark Generator is a direct replacement for my Brinkmann and I installed it in a matter of 3 minutes. The only difference was the amount of ports on the back. I had read that if you don't use all the ports, you need to cover the unused ones to avoid arcing. I simply covered the unused ports with a few layers of electrical tape. The Spark Generator performs flawlessly and lights the burners in a matter of a second or two. Great price and quality. Note that it does not come with the AA battery. Fast prime shipping. Cannot complain one bit. Buy with confidence.

Worked good at first and then stopped working after 8 months. New batteries were installed and still no spark. Had to buy a new one.
