Nino Falcone is genius and monster. As the right hand man and brother of the Capo of the Camorra, his lack of feelings is a blessing, not a curse - until his brother asks him to marry for the sake of the Camorra. Kiara Vitiello, cousin of the Capo of the New York Famiglia, is chosen to marry Nino Falcone to prevent war with the Camorra, but what she hears about Las Vegas makes her veins pulse with terror. After her father betrayed his Capo and paid with his life, her family thinks marriage is her only chance to bring honor to her name; but only Kiara knows she's a faulty prize given in return for peace.A man incapable of emotions and a woman scarred by the past - an arranged marriage with the potential to unite, or destroy... Review: Greattt - the book came in perfect condition, canโt wait to start reading it!! Review: WOW these characters!! - Wow, wow, wow! This book! While Twisted Loyalties was the tie to connect this series to the previous one, this almost feels like the official start of the series. Fabiano did not go deep into the mafia lifestyle, but this one is right up there. And just like book 1 of the Born in Blood Chronicles, this one begins with an arranged marriage. Nino was a hard character to figure out in the previous books, but I really enjoyed his portrayal of this one. While he is business-like, and saw the union as nothing more than that, he also treated it with a bit of emotion. He was understanding of the situation for Kiera, he played along with Lucaโs rules, he was never cruel to her. The book made multiple claims on how the Vegas mafia seems worse than New Yorkโs, but this book definitely shows otherwise. Maybe itโs just the traditionalist community New Yorkโs is bound in, maybe itโs the types of characters...whatever it is, I found Vegas to be a lot more relaxing. The Falcone brothers are made out to be deadly creatures, but when reading, I was never scared of them. In comparison, Luca and Matteo had a deadly air around them, but Nino and Remo seem much more relaxed. Nino and his brothers are much more down to earth. As per every good arranged marriage, Kiera should have been a virgin, but this was something taken from her years ago. The book did a wonderful job with portraying her discomfort, fear, and trauma, and also unpacking the trauma and getting her to move on. I was scared the fact of what happened to her would be dragged out, but I enjoyed how it was handled early on, and how it was handled in general. I also love how Luca gave permission for it all. I think what they did really speaks to Luca and the Falcone brotherโs morals. I enjoy that he didnโt care about such things--also indicating how down to earth he is. Instead the book was able to focus on moving past it. Going back to Nino, I think he is a very unique and interesting character. Dark romances always claim their characters cannot feel, but this time itโs true. I found it wonderful to read about, interesting, but also sad coming from Kieraโs POV. I want to give this book 4 stars, only because it unsatisfied me. While he said it at the end, was it for sure true? I felt like the ending was rushed. Iโm giving this 4 and not 5, only because I see after Remoโs book is another for these two. Given Ninoโs unique disposition, the love parts couldnโt be rushed and I suspect two books were always planned for them. So I will hold off and wait for more. This plot ends with the brothers getting ready to complete Remoโs plan. I look forward to getting to Twisted Pride and seeing how it all unfolds!

If you didn't love this book with all your heart, you probably don't have one.
Twisted Emotions is what of the best books I've read in ALL my life, and Nino & Kiara are both incredible heroes. Nino is the Camorra's Consigliere, Remo's brother, and he's known for having no emotions. When the Camorra needs to make peace with the Famiglia, he's the one who's offered for an arranged marriage with Luca's cousin. Kiara is the strong, sensible girl who's offered to marry Nino. But she has some secrets that she carried with her, and it could mean ruining the peace for the two familias. Kiara is so strong. That's the word we all would use to describe her. She's so strong. Nino is so patient and he tries his best to understand her. Seeing their love blossom and seeing Kiara blossom as well is really amazing. This story is about love, family, abuse and strenght. It's such a sad and yet beautiful book, and both Nino & Kiara have such terrible backgrounds, but their love is one in a kind. This is one of those stories where you cry tears of happiness because they got their happy ending, because you KNOW they DESERVE it.

Very Good
Liked the book. There's a problem. I ordered the book intending to have the green cover that shows in the product picture, but it came with another cover. I am not mad though the other cover is not bad.

Best mafia couple !!
NinoKiara are one of my fav comfort couples. I go back to this book all the time when I need to feel something. Kiara is in my opinion Cora's best femal character, I just love this woman so much words cannot even describe it. She's so strong et so soft, I want to give her the biggest hug. Nino is the perfect man for her. The way he was always so patient and understanding with her even when this man can't even feel emtions...ugh. He's everything and he helped Kiara to become more confident and be herself. This couple is one of the best mafia couples to ever exist. They will always be very special to me โค๏ธ
