Excellent authentic taste

This is definitely the original Tonkatsu sauce from Japan and one of the most delightful sauces in the world. Whether you use it with traditional pork cutlets or chicken, it is indispensable. The nice thing about this 3-pack is that they are the smaller bottles and so there is virtually no chance of waste. Also, this provisioner sent very fresh ones with nearly a year of shelf life. I'm sure that I'll be back for more shortly - it goes fast.

Hands down best Katsu sauce I bought so far. The taste is right on spot and makes all your katsu like foods, pop. Not to salty, not to sweet, just right. This is one sauce we could get on the neighbor islands but since Covid struck we haven't traveled so no more purchasing at the physical store for now. Thank goodness Amazon carries it, and at an ok price. Although kind of expensive, its still a better deal than the stores. Highly recommended sauce for most fried foods!

Was eating in our favorite Korean restaurant and asked about the sauce, the waiter was slightly embarrassed to admit that it was not homemade, but did write down the name...and we're so glad!! Buy some....if you like a sweet BBQ style sauce, you'll be happy.

I’ve been using this for many years and I knew it was going to be perfect for chicken cutlets and pork cutlets and it is still great. I’m glad to see that they didn’t change the recipe, only complaint is that it’s really pricey for a small bottle.

Excellent as always. Though one can make their own tonkatsu sauce, I always use this brand. It's excellent.

This is a key ingredient in a recipe for " Yakisoba " . It is a Japanese street food with Ramen noodles. I could not find it at any of the local markets. So instead of wandering around aimlessly at the super markets or searching online, I ordered it from Amazon. It is the brand that is recommended and the quantity I need.
