What are the dimensions of this rack?

Frame is 23.5 inches in length total. The pegs are 19.5 inches apart. We found the pegs too far apart for many different grommeted mats. Hope that helps!

Could i hang this with heavy duty command strips?

I doubt it. We used heavy molly bolts to attach ours. The weight of the matts is multiplied by the leverage of the rods holding the matts. I don't know how to type that so it makes sense. the Command strips might hold the weight if flush to the wall, but the weight pulling from the end of the hanging wall would twist it off the command strips.
