Can this withstand Dewalt titanium drill bits?

Yes if you use the proper size bit in the mating hole. Remember the POINT of the bit does the cutting. The flutes of the drill are there only for chip removal. The Titanium coating on the bit is a wear layer. It increases the life of the bit but does not increase sharpness or cutting ability. In this application it is no different from any other bit.

The Milescraft drill guide is 1 1/16 inch thick by 4.5 inches long. Since the block is slightly "S" shaped it is roughly 1 3/4 inches wide.. The Milescraft is wider (more stable) and has rubber feet to keep it from sliding around. Possible down side is that it only accommodates 6 drill bit sizes (1/8,3/16,1/4,5/16,3/8,1/2).The all metal Gator tool goes from 1/16 to 3/8 in 1/16 inch increments. I have both and if I could only have one it would be the Milescraft.

What are bushing diameters?

Hello,The drill diameters are 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 1/2

How well does this work drilling holes into a 1" pipe? How wide is the channel(on the bottom) the pipe would fit into?

this drillblock works well on all dianeters of pipe or tubing from1/8" to a maximum of about 8"...after that the curvature becomes a bit to shallow.

Simple, durable, and extremely handy to have around

A must-have tool for any homeowner or DIYer. The steel bushings guide your bits perfectly at 90 degrees every single time, saving you from wonky, angled holes. The rubberized bottom prevents slipping, and the V-channel works great on cylindrical surfaces like pipes and dowels. Solid build and super handy—well worth having in the toolbox!

Herramienta especializada

Comprar cuando ronde los $100MXN. Muy útil para que no se te vaya la broca en tuberías o en lugares cerca a la orilla. Igual si no tienes mucha práctica, te ayuda a hacer las perforaciones a 90°.

Inconsistency with dimensional markings...

Be careful with this. The product picture shows metric measurements in mm which is what I wanted. The actual product received has imperial measurements in inches. I'm not sure if there are two different versions or if the hole sizes are identical on both and they have labelled one slightly inaccurately. I will measure the holes and find out. 1/2 inch would be closer to 13mm than 12mm.*They sent me out a proper replacement quickly to be fair and it is not a bad product. As longas you receive the correct product it is decent.
