I went into the book with the thought that the book was going to be disturbing, but I didn't think it was. I felt the stories are meant to be disturbing but fall short of it. I thought Twisted Dark could have been more of just that, a little more "twisted & dark". Review: I really enjoyed the style of the illustrations but was left wanting more from the tales themselves. This is not to say that they weren't enjoyed but I was hoping for something a little scarier/shocking.

Twisted Dark was just ok for me. My expectations were set high and they were not met. It is still a ok book, just not exactly what I wanted. I couldn't put this book down. after i finished reading it i wanted more! good thing i found Neil at the NYCC 2012 and obtained his other volumes! truly original and fun.

This caught my eye at a comic con I visited and I flicked through the first few pages and was intrigued. The stories are dark and twisted just like the title. Some stories are predictable but still a great read! I liked that some characters had their stories continued.
