It's a countdown timer - not a clock

What makes the "plus" in this model? How is it different than the others?

What's great about this model is you can control the VOLUME of the alarm (beep) feature or simply turn the alarm off. The other timetimer models either have no alarm at all or you can only turn the alarm on or off. You can tell the difference between the models by looking at the back: no alarm models have no flip switch, alarm on/off models have a flip switch, adjustable alarm models have a dial knob.

My time timer is one size smaller than the one you are asking about and it is 7.5 x 5.5 x 1. The face is 4 3/4. We have been very happy with it. You don't hear it ticking so you might think it doesn't work, but it is moving. I like that because my child has to realize time is moving even if there is no ticking.

I purchased this timer for my autistic son- I choose the 120min so I could use it to tell him how long he could watch tv for (one film). It has significantly reduced melt downs and it just lets him know what is going on. (I have to keep it out of reach though because he quickly learnt to add time on when I was out of sight 🤣)

Reeds 3 keer defect exemplaar ontvangen, vaak slecht contact veertje met batterij. Vervormde piep of geen piepsignaal. Onregelmatig probleem. Uitzicht apparaat goed, 2u werking interessant, maar het ontwerp moet beter... steeds defect en moeten retouren. 2 keer al defect nieuw ontvangen en 1 na 1.5 maand al defect. Verbeter dit product aub!

Ich habe mir den Timer für mich selbst als Erwachsene mit schlechtem Zeitgefühl zugelegt und benutze ihn gerne. Mein Begeisterungspunkt ist das Einstellen einer Zeitspanne mit nur einem "Dreh". Vorher habe ich immer das Handy benutzt, um Zeiten zu messen, fand das aber immer umständlich und habe das nie gern getan. Beim Timer brauche ich nur den Drehknopf in der Mitte drehen und los geht's - schneller geht es nicht mehr! Auch, dass ich visuell schnell ein Gefühl dafür kriege, wieviel Zeit noch übrig ist, hilft. Ich benutze den Timer zB., um mich in Arbeitsphasen an's Pausemachen zu erinnern und grundsätzlich, um mir selbst klarer zu machen, wieviel Zeit (oder auch nicht) ich für so manches brauche. Zum Vergleich hatte ich mir noch zwei kleine Timermodelle ("Tischwecker") bestellt, allerdings waren die wirklich zu winzig und optisch nicht so schnell erfassbar. Auch, dass es die nur in rot gab, hat mich gestört, ist mir persönlich zu undezent gewesen. Wie auch ein anderer Rezensent schon meinte, halte auch ich die Größe dieses Timers für ziemlich optimal, der Griff ist zusätzlich angenehm. Zudem ist der Timer sehr leicht und flach.
