Will this cover my roots?

Although it’s not a permanent hair dye, I find it colours my roots, fading after 1 or 2 washes. I put a permanent dye on my hair in October 21, and once a week I wash my hair, deep cleanse it and then put this on overnight, with my head wrapped in a bin bag, by doing this my hair stays vibrant red and I don’t ruin it or dry it out by using permanent hair dyes too frequently. I’m planning to do my roots again with a permanent dye over the next week or so, and that’s since it was last done in October. I hate to see faded red hair, and mine is always vibrant. My natural colour is mid to dark brown. I hope this helps…….

Does it cover grey hair?

No, not in the way a permanent hair dye colours hair, although it does add a level of colour. Unfortunately this fades after the next wash, but I only wash my hair once per week and sleep with this hair mask on overnight, which give me fabulous red hair for the following week. My last permanent hair dye was October 21, so something is working……..
