Yes, and it is the only way to get DaVinci Studio...buying any physical product that comes with it (camera, speed editor, etc.)

Will this work for DR 18 or is it just 17?

The code will work for any version of DaVinci Resolve Studio since the license is lifetime. You'll be able to upgrade to all future versions as well. Thank you for your question.

Did the unit come with the usb type c cable? many people seem to be missing their cable.

Yes, the unit comes with a USB-C cable in the box. It’s used for connecting it to your computer as well as to charge the internal battery. If you don’t have the cable for some reason or prefer to use the Speed Editor keyboard without the cable, you can use Bluetooth to connect to your computer. However, we need a cable to charge the battery of the unit when it runs out.

What's up with the price???? The official price is $295.

The official price is $295 USD - there is no reason to pay more. One can download all official versions including studio and Activation Codes should be immediately Emailed to you if going that route. Some waited for the version 17 Dongle but other than that, the price is the same no matter which you choose. Don't let some Company - who is supposed to be an official reseller - rip you off.
