Great product

Long story short: The paint that amazon has given me was old paint, but it "spoiled"/was bad. My replacement from amazon was just as bad so I contacted the seller, or Speedball themselves. They confirmed both were old and bad quality paint and they sent me a replacement. I still have questions and waiting for a response but I appreciate them for replacing it with a better quality one, thankfully easier to clean up. NOTE: If the paint is really "chunky" and not smooth, get it replaced. BUYER BEWARE: This is not a SOLID white, it has a glimmer to it and any paint I mix it will glitters. Pretty awkward when I have it next to the other colors which have no "shine"/"glimmer" to them.

Really disappointed with this brand. I bought the brown ink which was excellent quality. I thought all their colours would be of this quality. I got a black one and it never dries fully, even after days and weeks. It easily smudges and has left me with a lot of pointless wastage for my work. This is quite pricey for water based ink that is supposed to be considered good quality. I won't risk buying another colour again. Really disappointing and lacks consistency as a brand. Avoid!

Speedball is a very reliable brand for all home printers' needs and this copper coloured printing ink is no exception. It is water based, metallic, and has a very good 'tack' which you can hear when using it and gives confidence that it will give a good print using several methods, including linoprint and also I use it a lot for drypoint intaglio too. This is a generous amount of ink for the price and I like the way it spreads evenly onto the brayer (roller). Being water based, clean up is really simple with some water and a little liquid detergent. I expect to be producing a lot more copper colour prints in the near future.

I bought this as a gift gift for my stepson. He really loves to do lithograph prints and this was the perfect product for him to use to give his prints an elegant touch of gold.
