Iperf measured 9.89 Gb/s both directions, on ancient pcie2 network cards, using a 2013 era PC, sending TCP packets on a 15m OS2 cable. No configuration needed, just swapped them in place of my twinax cable and it instantly worked. Latency 0.2ms (again, this is on ancient hardware by modern standards). The two adapters were supplied in a cool painted tin case which was a nice surprise. Ran them for 24 hours continuously passing data as a test - no failure, flapping or overheating. One of my favourite Amazon purchases ever! Paid full price for these, and the vendor did not ask for this review, I was just really impressed and thought they deserve some random positive feedback. (It was a wonderful experience seeing everything just work, compared to the nightmare I had trying to get realtek and intel 2.5gbe pcie and usb adapters to maintain a link... never mind send data!) PS if it's your first time using fibre remember to read up on laser safety and how to handle the cables and adapters without getting the optics dirty or broken.

I bought this to extend my home network into a different part of the house over a 30m fibre. The transceivers came in a cute little tin and worked immediately with my TP-Link switches. The link has been reliable and appears to be working at the full 10Gbit/s.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. I only bought one initially, as I wanted to be sure this device would work with the switch I'm using. Most of the optical kit I'm running is on 850nm, but there was this one device that I needed SM optics for. This SFP+ is just the ticket; runs at 10G with no challenges at all.

This is a decent priced SFP+ that plugged in and just worked without issue. In the past we've bought SFP's and SFP+'s that can be quite fussy and will only work with specific brands/models. This one works with our Ubiquti and Netgear switches without any messing around, which makes me very happy.

Ich nutze das Modul in einem UniFi-Switch für eine Glasfaserverbindung – absolut zuverlässig seit über einem Jahr im Dauerbetrieb. Bin auf Glasfaser umgestiegen, nachdem ein Nager mehrfach mein RJ45-Kabel durchgebissen hat und ich kein durchbisssicheres RJ45ßKabel gefunden habe – seither keine Probleme mehr.
