Can anyone verify the *diameter* of the 42"x25" duffel? The 36"x21" is only 12" in diameter (see my review) and I really need something at least 18".

It's at least 18" for sure. I was able to insert our collapsible artificial christmas tree (24" collapsed) fine.

One reviewer said "has a warning that says the chemicals in it may cause cancer" anyone else's bag came with that warning?

As a person that lives in California, practically every product and every store has a prop 65 warning (Proposition 65 requires the state to maintain and update a list of chemicals known to the state to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity.) So, the dyes used to paint the zipper or the dye used in the fabric can be of "a class" that has POTENTIAL to have chemicals that may or may not cause cancer. The MORONIC proposition has caused everyone with any sense to ignore such warnings because the warnings is literally on nearly every product sold in the state.
