Does this push air or pull? Is there any way to change push and pull?

It is set up to pull air from back out the front so as to pull air out of your cabinet. If you wanted the unit can easily be disassembled and the fans reversed for the opposite flow. It makes it nice cause you can have a fan on each side to create a tunnel effect.

Question 2

I am building a media closet and will be venting to attic above. Will this fan work or will it struggle with the hot air above? Airtitan better?

Hey Christopher!  Well I purchased this last year and it's in a cabinet right above my Onkyo TX NR3030 receiver. I have found this just does not have enough CFM's and it's about 3 to 4 inches above the receiver grill and I have and open front to the receiver to pull air through. Also, the digital thermostat quit working in Auto mode a few months after getting this. I purchased this here on Amazon and contacted the company directly. I told them what happened and they wanted me to ship back before sending the replacment and I'd be down and out with no exhaust fan. I had another dual fan, which produces twice the cfms but no thermostat. It's a tad noisier but works so great and my receiver stays extremely cool. My own advice would be to search out a different product and one that the manufacturer won't leaving you hanging. I hope this helps.

Could I use this to pull warm air out from behind my fridge that is in a cabinet with little air flow?

Don't see why it wouldn't work. Presumably air can get into the cabinet around or under the fridge.

Could this do a decent job of circulating air from the living room into a small enclosed room through the wall? (40 sq ft)

It could. You could put this unit on the inside or outside (looks better outside).  You can change the direction of air flow depending on your preferred location.   You might want to buy a grill for appearance on the other side of the wall but don't need it.   The fans are caged on the back side.  If the wall is hollow, you might want to build or buy a "duct" tube so air isn't just blown inside the wall. Most wall studs are 16 inch between centers. This fan set would require you to cut into the wall studs if you want to situate it horizontally between standard wall studs so I didn't put mine in the wall as I originalled intended.  Remember you won't get much circulation unless you also have a vent (out in your case) so blown air isn't just dead headed.   I installed this on the door of my media closet which has a fan cooled media cabinet in it so the room gets pretty warm (warm enough so Wi-Fi router would crash occassionally).   The floor gap at the bottom of the door was adequate inlet vent.  This fan does a good job of changing the warm room air out slowly but constantly.  Note this is a quiet set of fans and so doesn't produce a hurricane of wind. It produces a slow steady change of air.   It's good quality and I like it.  If your room needs alot of cooling, this might not be powerful enough.  I almost put it in the wall instead of the door but it looks better on the door.
