Very easy to use, any cleaning issues may be the detergent not the washer itself
I waited a bit to review this, since my first impression of the dishwasher wasn't too good and I thought I might be returning it. However, it turned out to be an issue with the dishwashing detergent I was using and not the dishwasher, which works quite well now, so I am happily keeping this dishwasher. Firstly, set up is ridiculously easy. I bought this for the tank feature specifically, since I did not want to waste my limited apartment countertop space by setting this up next to the sink and hooking it up to the water supply. I instead bought a microwave cart that had sufficient weight capacity for this dishwasher, and use that to wheel the dishwasher next to the sink when I want to use it. Basically, all I had to do was "install" the outlet hose for the water to drain out, which consisted of just attaching the hose to the dishwasher and tightening the connection with a screwdriver. No problem with leaks at all. I did have a slight learning curve with how to load the rack properly, since I've always lived in apartments without dishwashers and thus always just hand-washed everything, but google was pretty helpful with that, as well as the picture in the manual. One thing to note is that there is no rinse-aid compartment, so if rinse-aid in necessary then you will have to buy a dishwasher detergent that includes it. There's also also no real detergent "compartment," per se, there's an indented part in the door that you pour the detergent into, but it's completely open so the moment you close the door it dribbles out and down to the bottom of the dishwasher. As previously stated, I wasn't too impressed with the dishwasher at first, due to my first load including a sauce pan that had dried red pepper paste sauce on it. I had bought a bottle of Cascade gel dishwashing detergent, as the instructions on the manual had specified the amount of detergent to use (8g for normal, 12g for the strong wash) and I read elsewhere that detergent tabs/pods were too much for a countertop dishwasher like this. Unfortunately, the whole load ended up with red stains everywhere. I will say a lot of it had been cleaned from the sauce pan, but there were small red stains on all the other dishes in the load as well larger stains on the plastic parts of inside the dishwasher. A second wash with the same detergent did not remove any of these stains. At first, I thought it was the dishwasher itself that wasn't properly washing, but then realized that the dishwashing detergent might be the real issue. I picked up a bag of Finish Quantum pods, with both bleach and rinse aid in the pod, to give the dishwasher another chance. I did take the opportunity to weigh the pod on my food scale, and one pod came out to be 15g. I placed the pod on the bottom of the dishwasher and ran the "strong" cycle to give the pod a better chance to dissolve completely and not leave a residue. Thankfully, this worked - and the red stains were gone, courtesy of the detergent pod! Now that I have a stronger detergent, I'm very pleased with this dishwasher. The running cycle is fairly quiet, and even the water draining from the outlet hose is quiet (a pleasant surprise, since I tried a different countertop dishwasher that BLASTED the dirty water out like a firehose and gave me a heart attack thinking a pipe had burst or something). My dishwasher sits a few inches below the sink, so although the drain hose empties well into the sink for the most part, the incline causes a little well of water remaining in the hose that I use a bucket to catch when I lower the drain hose from the sink to the floor. Overall very happy with the dishwasher, it's perfect for my needs living alone. Edit: Still working very well. Just wanted to add, for those looking for a cheaper detergent option, I've found that the Walmart brand Great Value Automatic Diswasher Pacs work just as well as the Quantum pods, and cost a LOT less.

Great for houses and apartments without a dishwasher
Update for January 2026: Dishwasher is still amazing! Don’t hesitate; just buy it if your home lacks a dishwasher. Future you will thank you! I only wish the company made a larger portable version. I would probably trade in for that if it has the same performance. Original review: Only a couple weeks into having this and I can’t believe I didn’t think of a countertop dishwasher before now! This machine is great! We just hosted a giant Thanksgiving dinner for family and this machine did wonderfully. If you’re thinking about getting a countertop, do it. You won’t regret it! We got a countertop dishwasher because we rent and I really didn’t want to spend money on a rolling dishwasher that could take up more space, and frankly, they typically have poorer reviews overall. It’s not large but it fits enough for daily loads for our family of 3. For Thanksgiving, we had many more people and it was so nice to load it while cooking and running it so that after dinner we had an easy clean up of what dishes we used to eat and drink. My Corelle dinner plates that I’ve owned for years fit perfectly in it along with many other things. Its small size also helps with counter space so we still have room to prep food, set out plates, etc. Because I simply don’t want to deal with a hose, we use the water tank option, which is convenient and opens up our sink for additional use. Set up was easy. Because of other reviews, I made sure the drain hose was facing downward in the sink basin next to it and just put our drying rack right over it to ensue it stays down for draining. Drains very well doing that! The heat drying feature works well and I really like the fact that it circulates fresh air for up to 73 hours afterwards. I’ve seen a few reviews about the smell of the dishwasher but I always use a tiny bit of vinegar in every load (along with a dishwasher pod), so I think it helps with the smell that can develop with plastic interiors. We also have fairly hard water so the vinegar (poured into the dishwasher, not the water tank) helps with that issue. Don’t use rinse aid in this dishwasher, unless you get a small rinse aid rack. With the small size, white vinegar is a better option since rinse aid is still a surfactant.

Received well packed and nicely taped and secured inside. Installation was easy, and I use manual water top up - 3 jugs and works well. Bought standard waste pipe for washing machine (Wickes, £5.99), to extend the dishwasher one as it was a bit short to reach my sink. To be clear original one is quite long but place where I could put dishwasher was a bit too far from my sink. Anyway easy to extend as I just plugged very tightly in extending waste pipe. It can fit quite a lot in one washing. My plates are 10" and they fit perfectly - there is still some space above as dishwasher is fairly high. I do roughly one washing a day, and use Quick cycle - 29 minutes. It really clean dishes and cutlery very well. There is an automatic 60 min drying cycle which kicks in after completed washing. It goes very quiet at this stage. I could stop drying an do it manually to save energy. It works OK both ways. It is easy to maintain and I do 2 min inside cleaning after washing, especially heating plate below the filter that collects limestone from hard water which is characteristic of my geographical area. For me it is not noisy as some people claim. Could not see much difference in noise level between this one and a normal dishwasher. Yes, as it is smaller it should be maybe quieter than big one, but it stands on the worktop and is not sound proof as the built in one. Anyway I am not standing next to my new dishwasher to measure sound output, I would rather move to the living room and listen to music while washing in progress. The instruction manual is a bit spartan but sufficiently clear and informative to get you started. And one more thing - no more dirty dishes in my sink, just fill them into dishwasher and close the door. Voila, my kitchen tidy again. As for longevity will see how it goes, but so far so good. Great little workhorse, would highly recommend.

This is my review after around 2 months of use. I'm impressed! I purchased this model because it was the only option narrow enough to fit on my countertop (next to the kitchen sink it drains into). I wasn't sure what to expect. I've since saved a huge amount of time and effort washing dishes, and a huge amount of water. Dishes come out clean, with rare exceptions for really caked/baked-on gunk (e.g. egg proteins). Despite having a single spray arm on the bottom, it seems to do a great job of getting water into hard to reach places--for example, cleaning straws no problem. Pros: - The ability to top-fill the dishwasher is great. I was surprised to see it came with a jug for filling, and it requires only around 3 full jugs to fill. I wish the port for filing was slightly more recessed--if I pour too quickly water splashes out, but in reality I can fill the machine in under 1 minute. - It does a great job of heating the water, and displays the temperature of the water when its running. No need to fill with hot water. - It cleans really well, and needs minimal detergent (see below). Glasses that used to look dirty no matter how many times I hand washed them now come out sparklingly clean. A couple downsides: - The dishwasher has no pre-wash detergent holder. In other words, the detergent you put in at the start is the detergent used for the full cycle, unlike some (full size) models that use a prewash cycle for 15 minutes, emptying the gross water, then going on to clean for longer. The upside of not having a prewash detergent door is one fewer thing to go wrong. This model seems quite simple--hopefully that translates to longevity. - Loss of counter space. Unless you want to drain it into a bucket, you're going to want it near a sink, probably. I was glad I measured before I purchased--it just fits in my space. - Unlike some other full size dishwashers, it doesn't appear to have a mechanical blade or pulverizing system for larger chunks of food. While it isn't necessary to hand rinse every dish, I will take steps to quickly scrape off large "chunks", as the manual suggests. I also check the filter about once-whenever-I-remember to and have found very small bits of grunge in it. The filter is easy to disassemble and rinse. Some things I have learned: Do not use detergent pods (e.g. the cascade ones) - they contain FAR TOO MUCH detergent for a dishwasher of this size. I made the mistake of buying a large and expensive tub of detergent pods because I bought into the marketing that they would make my dishes cleaner. In reality, too much detergent consistently left my dishes smelling, even tasting, like detergent. Yuck After watching a video on the channel "Technology Connections" on YT about detergent packs, I decided to give the cheap powdered soap a try. Not only am I saving about 90% of what the pods were costing, but my dishes come out just as clean, AND without the smell caused by using far too much detergent. Save your money and buy the cheap powder (not gels). As others have pointed out, this is a really small machine, good for one or two people at most. For me, it's been a godsend--no more pre-soaking dishes in the sink, no more anxiety-inducing piles of dishes in moments I get way too busy. It's given me back hours of my week.
