The part was delivered early, which Enabled me to install it into my customers fireplace two days earlier then I promised.The wiring fit perfectly at no problems whatsoever Installing it. When I tested the fireplace it came on as expected. The customers happy, I’m happy because I got paid. five stars and two thumbs up. I highly recommend this module. FYI This was on a “ Heat & Glo” Fireplace model SL-950TR-IPI-E. Original part number. 6K 593-592 Symptoms - pilot would click and ignite but the burner wouldn’t fire. I had 3vdc to the module and the thermocouple tested good. I love it when things work !

I’m constantly fixing my fireplace. I’ve hired three different companies who truly struggled to know how to fix my fireplace. So ridiculous. I have been YouTubing (how to videos) for the past 10 years and fixing it myself. As an old woman I find I fix most things on my own with a little knowledge from others online, though I would rather hire somebody. Last year I had replaced every single part in my fireplace, which is a heat and glo SlimLine IPI. I believe I had lightning strike last summer and ended up having to replace all the parts in this fireplace and my garage door opener as well. So I unplugged it for the off season and it started right up this winter. It worked great, up until we got subzero temperatures then it quit working. So frustrating. Not knowing what to do or what part wasn’t working, I watched videos. This part seems to be the trick to all things IPI gas fireplace, and functioning thermostat. This part doesn’t seem to have any longevity, but however, I’d rather have heat. I purchased the certified upgrade, 4$ more and have no clue if that makes a difference? It’s easy to replace and now my fireplace works. That’s all I know and I wish I didn’t even know that. Lol

This was a direct replacement controller for my Heatilator gas fireplace. Easy installation and it worked perfectly!

It plugs in exactly as the original and functions perfectly.

We purchased this module and had a professional technician install it in October of 2023. It worked fine for 3 months until we tried to start the fireplace 2 days ago. We called the same guy who put it in last October, and he came out to check it out. He followed the instructions of the trouble shooting procedure, confirmed the module was faulty. He asked if there was warranty on it since it was only 3 months old, and we could not find one. Now, I'm faced with going without the fireplace due it being broken, or taking my chances buying a new module, having the electrician come back out to install, and then it fails again 3 months from now, and I'm out the cost of all this. You guys got any suggestions?

I am giving this product a 4 star rating due to the quality and durability of the product. My 19 yr old fireplace had been out-0f-commission for the last 10 years or longer. There was no sparks from the pilot. No "tik-tik-tik" noise. I am not an expert. So I gave up using my fireplace for warming. My wife kept saying "call the experts...(to get the fireplace working.) We have it so we should be able to use it." I said "They cost too much....What's the going rate...over 4 to $500, if not more?" Anywho,...after so many years went by and so many months of self research of most DIY-ers on Youtube. I decided to give this a shot....narrowing it down to 3 possible causes...mostly recommended "the module" for IPI. I decided to look to Amazon and order the best one...which lead to this device/product. Anyways....after days of contemplating after I had received the product...mind you I am not an expert and have never worked on a fireplace....flammable gas and explosion...FIRE... was and had been my main hesitation. BUT the DIY-ers on Youtube gave me confidence that an average person like me could do this.....So I decided to DUE-dees. (punt intended) I did the troubleshooting steps...replace the product...(the product look exactly like and wires fit perfectly as the old one)....flipped the switch nothing change, no sparks...So, as far as this product goes it did not correct or resolve my issue. Found out the module was not the issue...not the cause of my broken fireplace....aannnd... I'll stop and leave it right here. Therefore, I am returning this product...no longer be needing it.

I ordered this for a friend. I have not had a word of complaint so I assume all is well with the product. They specifically wanted this item for their fireplace.

Great Product!

Replaced the org module with this one. Swapped out wireharness.. and the gas fireplace works excellent now. Hopefully the module will last more than a year
