No, you need to purchase a separate bell or chime and wire it to the DB1 via a bell transformer. The DB1 will chime on the device itself if the door bell button is pressed.

Ive got plug socket near the door so would electrician be able to wire up near door?

Technically yes, you just need to put a transformer in the circuit somewhere. However, the main issue with this door bell that I had was that it’s wouldn’t work with two of the recommended chimes (they kept humming). What I thought was going to be a nice solution turned out to be a waste of time and money so I sent both the door bell and chimes back. I ordered the Ring Pro instead and that is just fantastic.

Has anyone had issues with the wifi dropping out during installation on your phone? when i press connect, it goes, everytime
