This Twisted Tale asks a bold question: what happens if the Evil Queen succeeds in poisoning the Prince instead of—well, Snow White? From there, everything we thought we knew gets flipped upside down—and it’s a ride worth taking. The story alternates between Snow White’s POV and Queen Ingrid’s, giving much more emotional complexity than the original tale. We get flashbacks to Ingrid’s early life and see how her ambition twisted her sisterly love into betrayal. Snow, meanwhile, becomes a force to reckon with—determined and empowered, no longer a passive princess waiting for rescue. The pacing has a few uneven sections—some moments feel rushed, especially toward the end—but the characters feel real. Snow controls her fate, Prince Henrich grows into a likable ally, and Ingrid’s descent is compelling even when it’s chilling. And the Mirror? It’s more than decoration—it’s a character that’s creepy, sentient, and utterly fascinating.

I love the Twisted Tales! I will say that this one is definitely my favorite out of them all! It at a great and fun story to it and kept me interested since page 1! Will definitely recommend this book to everyone!
