Fits well, is soft and non-itchy, lightweight but warm. I often do not have to wear an insulating layer between this and my waterproof shell, as this provides plenty of warmth when actively hiking or snowshoeing. It is also exceptionally breathable, and will dry quickly. I have only machine washed on delicate and air-dried, as specified in the care instructions. The socks that came with this shirt are soft and cushy, and washed and dried just fine in a normal warm wash and medium dry cycle. I would not hesitate to continue ordering from this company, especially since a lot of the more expensive brands have been upping their synthetic content. You’re definitely getting way more wool for your buck from Merino Tech!

This is the right thickness to go under clothing and can be used as pajamas. Turn down your thermostat and save money on your electric bill. Sleep like a baby! Keeps your body constantly at the right temp naturally. This is very important for all ages (especially the older you get). That's what merino wool does. I will be wearing it under my jeans flying internationally. I use a drop of the green Miracle II to hand wash, dry flat over night. So two sets is ideal to have. Very soft. Not itchy and light weight. You get a free pair of socks which have turned out to be THE MOST COMFORTABLE SOCKS I'VE EVER HAD!!!! Highly HIGHLY recommend this product!!!!! I'd give it DOUBLE the stars if I could!!!!! 💜👍👍

This isn't the first Merino tech sweater like this I've purchased. These are very nice, fine merino wool sweaters that don't feel itchy at all. I wear them as a base layer, or as a single (only layer) depending on the weather. They are perfect for trips as you can wear them next to your skin without odor for days reducing the number of garments you have to pack (always a good thing). Wool is natural warmth helping to keep your body's warmth constant and wool can get wet without making you feel cold. Because of all the qualities of wool garments, they function well in all situations, surprisingly even when you might think it is too warm for them. All of my sweaters of any style are merino or cashmere because the quality is high and their usefulness is, too. I love the fit of this sweater group. It shapes itself to your body without being "clingily", or check the size chart if you like a looser fit. Although I haven't needed it for these sweaters, I recommend a "sweater shaver" to remove any pilling that may occur on any sweater: it keeps sweaters looking brand new and only requires a few minutes to use. The colors so far are great, too!

I really like the warmth and fit of this shirt. I wear a thin under layer with the shirt as it's not especially soft against my skin. It's a bit on the scratchy side. It's still a keeper!

I originally purchased this as a base layer for a trip to Iceland. While we were there, I wore it under a Uniqlo vest for sightseeing and hiking. I have continued to wear it ever since. I bought the 250-weight shirt in charcoal in a size large. It is soft, not itchy. It fits close enough to my body to be easy to layer, but not so close or clingy that I feel self-conscious wearing it on its own. Wool is nice because it is quick-drying, doesn't trap body odor, and is breathable, making it never too hot or too cold. I was mistakenly sent a black 165-weight shirt along with the charcoal one in the same size. The lighter-weight shirt is less opaque, but it works well under other items. Overall, this was one of my best Amazon travel purchases. The socks were a nice bonus!

I like to put wool gear to the test, wearing it for a week straight (washing if need be, at night, and letting it air dry overnight). I'm impressed at week one of wearing top and bottom under clothes. I've been warm, not hot, and although these fit closely, they are not snug. It's felt a bit like having my skin lightly massaged all day. Elbows (and knees in the matching bottoms) do show some stretching with multiple wears. I have both hand washed and machine washed on gentle cycle, tumble dry extra low. I think there will be some pilling in the future, but all in all, this feels like a solid base layer choice for multiple climates. I'm 5'2, 127lbs, medium boned with an athletic build. My husband is 5'8, 135lbs, small boned with an athletic build. The small women's fit me perfectly. The sleeves would come down a bit over my hands except for the weird cord like cuff- it would be exactly perfect with thumb holes. The shirt is close, not tight, and comes down to about mid hip, which is perfect for tucking in. The small men's fit me nearly perfectly - it was a little bit bigger, but not much, the main difference was that the mens version had a longer torso, which comes down over my bum. The mens small was a bit too tight on my husband and the sleeves were too short. The mens version also has soft, full cuffs. The women's version has almost like a cord around the end of the sleeves. Not a deal breaker, but I do find it irritating. Zoom in on the listing pics to see cuffs. Pros: Good quality Doesn't hold smells Temperature regulating Very soft - I've got super sensitive skin and this doesn't itch. The price is excellent Cons If you are tall, I'd suggest going for the mens version. This is perfect on someone short, like me. No thumb holes - I might even take it to a tailor to have thumb holes put in, as the cord makes it a bit uncomfortable to pull down over my hands. The cord like ending to the sleeves is annoying, I considered taking a star off for it, but the price and quality overall are so good that it didn't seem quite fair - more of a 1/2 star. I love that they sent a free pair of merino socks with each order (I ordered multiples for my husband and myself). The socks were much too big for me, but my husband was happy to restock his merino sock collection for free. (I'm a 6.5 - 7 shoe size, they were more appropriate for my husband's 10.5 shoe size) If I could give half stars, this would be 4.5 stars. It's a solid choice for someone transitioning to wool base layers. Honestly, the quality feels better than a lot of Smart Wool layers I've had, and it's softer.

Do you have long arms? This is the merino t-shirt for you! I'm only 5'2" so sleeves are often long on me, but these are ridiculously long - the tip of my middle finger barely peeks out of the sleeve. I bought the 250 g/m² weight top in four dark colors, and they are not see-through. The stitching quality is good. The fabric is fine merino, but I'm skeptical it is 17.5 micron. I have another brand's tops that are 17.5 micron merino and they are softer. Those are also very expensive. I think this Merino Tech shirt is a better value. The camo print top isn't as soft as the other colors. There is a foil print logo on the sleeve that is obtrusive. The top would be more versatile if it wasn't there. There is also a more refined fabric logo sewn into the bottom hem. I would have rated this top 4+ stars if the sleeves fit better.

Must wash before the first wear! Did great in my washing machine wool cycle (cold water/ slow spin) and air drying. Nice colors and design, can easily be worn as a warm form fitting pullover and not just a base layer.

War ein Weihnachtsgeschenk für meine Tochter, sie ist sehr zufrieden. XS passt für Körpergröße 165 48kg Gewicht sehr gut. Es ist nicht anliegend eng und nicht schlabberig weit. Tailliert. Die Socken waren leider nicht dabei, wurde aber ein Preisnachlass veranlasst. Alles in einem sehr gut.
