There is an indescribable joy associated with having good quality stationery. I understand this. And my daughter understands it too. She is currently writing a book and has reached the dreaded stage where she has completed a first draft and wanted to have a hard copy printed out so she could edit prior to submission. Knowing how stressful this can be I decided to surprise her and arranged for this STABILO BOSS ORIGINAL Deskset of 15 Assorted Colours to be delivered to her. Now anyone who knows a thing or too about highlighters will tell you that STABILO BOSS ORIGINAL is the gold standard that no other brand comes close to emulating. Sure there are pretenders out there that are a few pennies cheaper but you will find all sorts of problems such as running ink, drying up nibs, uncomfortable designs, badly fitting caps, certain colours too dark when you photocopy, inconsistently of ink delivery through live of pen, I could go on and on but I think you get the picture by now. I was astonished that STABILO BOSS ORIGINAL have as many as fifteen shades. As well as the all time great highlighter colour of classic fluorescent yellow and the fairly everyday blues, greens, fuchsia pink and orange (my personal favourite) there are some highly original and impressive hues included in this pack ranging from lilacs, to purples, indigo, olive green, turquoise, mustard, grey (yes really) and many many more. It is quite astonishing that STABILO has managed to retain the same quality standards on these novel pigments than on the classics. My daughter was highly impressed and sent me the picture above. I now have severe stationery envy and wish that I had bought a second set for myself. These will brighten up anyone's day.
