Does it come with 1 or 2?

there are 2 in the package. One thing I have noticed which is the case one all of the different pairs I have is that you may have to adjust the angle of the 90 degree bend of the end of the clamp. Some of them are not bent quite far enough to keep the sacrificial fence flat against the side of the saw fence which means it is not vertical. A little minor tweaking of the bend will bring it to vertical. This may not make any difference in most cuts, but I like to at least start with everything right.

What is the maximum clamping width these can accomodate? That is, what's the widest fence these will work on?

Maximum opening is 3 1/4 inches

These work well for my sacrificial fence on my tablesaw but does anyone know of a quick release clamp that can be used in the same way?
