This resist gets 5 stars for ease of use, quality, and easy removal. Although transferring from the bottle to smaller applicators is challenging (I wish it was in a jar) and a bit messy. It goes on the silk easily and effortlessly with minimal to no spreading. It does take a while to dry completely, but it makes excellent lines that I’ve not penetrated with dye even though I have gotten a little on the resist lines. As some folks have mentioned, it does pucker the fabric some, especially thicker lines, but I haven’t noticed it affecting its resistant qualities or affecting how the dyes act. It’s easy to remove, even after steaming, just rubbing off in cold water with a little silk detergent. Overall, it’s a tremendous product and I don’t have to mess with toxic chemicals or worry about environmental problems from washing this down the sink, which should not be done with Resistad.

I used this in little precision-drawing bottles in a workshop where I only had 15 minutes for it to dry. It wasn't all dry, but it did well enough against the dye (Fiber Reactive synthetic) and the workshop participants really liked it. It says it's non-toxic, which is important in the school setting where I use it. There's very little information on the bottle, but it's pretty straightforward to use.

It is the most terrible resist I have ever used. I used it on two silk scarves thst I was going to paint. When it dried it peckered the fabric and when I tried to stretch the fabric the resist broke. Hence it did not contain the dye within lines. Waste of money, my effort and time.
