What exactly does it smell like if you can describe it?

Maybe it varies from batch to batch, but I personally think it has a distinct (subtle) smell of cedar oil. My wife uses cedar essential oil and it smells just like that. I don't think it smells like patchouli at all. Definitely a woodsy smell. Definitely not strong or perfumey. Think hipster.

Not really for hold. It's more of moisturizer and leave in conditioner. Similar to beard balm from a tin but easier to put use.
