Although this is kind of a pain to put together (buy the special pliers), it is a very useful cage! My daughter puts her rabbit in it on the grass on warmer days and we don’t have to worry about the dogs or cats getting to him! My only con was that I apparently didn’t read enough to understand that to make putting this together easier, a special pair of pliers is needed and do not come with the cage. I ended up using our animal nail clippers to bend each clip to put this together. I would definitely recommend getting the pliers!!

The price on this cage was the best I had found. The cage is basic and easy to assemble. I bought additional clips because I didn’t feel like it had enough. The gauge of the metal isn’t the same as cages I’ve bought years ago, so I felt it needed to be fortified. It’s holding up really well so far, so I’m very pleased. I highly recommend getting the same brand clamp pliers. Other clamp pliers are not going to do as good of a job.

Purchased for use with Coturnix quail - not rabbits.I purchased a different branded one first, and then three of these. Both cages have things that I like about them, and wish the other brand had done. I like the construction with the cage clips. They are easy to use, durable, and not too bulky. I like the spring and clip type latch. I like the offset door. The other cage had a different sort of coating that wasn't as hard on my hands, and made the finished cage a little bit more attractive.Overall these cages will work very well for my needs. I think that the cage clip pliers being sold separately in this case makes sense, as I believe many people buy a number of these cages along with the cage frame kits and stack them all together. I purchased four cages, and would be annoyed at having 3 extra sets of pliers that I didn't need and having paid the extra cost of each kit for something I didn't need.

Good cage and fairly easy to put together. Very sturdy

I ordered this cage because the price was about the same as what it would cost me to buy the materials and build it myself, which would normally be the cheaper option. I was quite disappointed to see that the cage arrived completely disassembled. Nowhere in the description did it inform me that I would need j-clip pliers to assemble the cage. Fortunately, I happened to already have a pair from building previous cages, but if I had to waste the time and money to buy the pliers, I would have been really upset. Other than this issue, the cage seems to be of good quality. The only thing it lacks is a hook to hold the door open.

Okay, so this was a first for me, I didn't know you needed to special tool. So instead I used vice grips and some pliers of my own and bent some of the metal pieces to fit. The rest of them I simply used zip ties.. save yourself the money of buying their "tool" . Zip ties worked better !I purchased two of these bad boys and I prefer the one I did in all clearbzip ties, as I could place more on it and it doesn't bend or warp.

I purchased a few of these and for the price, I am very pleased. Buy the special j clip tool and assembly will be a breeze! I put 2 together in just over an hour. Spacious enough for the rabbits. I will definitely purchase more of these in the future as long as the price is the same.

this is a great looking cage, seems to be sturdy and rather easy to assemble if one has the right tools, which i had. it does not come with tools nor does it come assembled, which for one reason or another is what i had thought it did. i do not remember reading requires assembly or needs tools. but otherwise my rabbit girls are very happy. I also fabricated my own door closure as this one requires installation of the door inside and this is something i did not agree with or feel is safe. the sidewalls are so large in space that if my rabbit were to have babies, i would have to install additional screening around the bottom. just for those of you who plan on breeding rabbits it is something to consider as the babies will fall through the openings.
