I had a more expensive brand but honestly they are both the same. I needed a smaller one because I lost some weight. The locking mechanism is made out of metal not plastic so it will last. The thickness is the same as a E26 belt. When you are applying pressure during squats or other lifts, there is no slippage. it offers great, tight support. Its easy to unlock and walk around with it lose until you are ready to tighten it up again. My only complaint is that the plastic logo on the end that feeds to the lock makes it difficult to fold in but not really a deal breaker. Great for the price, easy to adjust and offers amazing squat/dead lift support.

After an almost 20 year hiatus, I’ve restarted my fitness journey. I lost almost 60 pounds with HIIT workouts and dumbbell lifting and feel safe to start lifting heavier weight via barbell workouts. I got my weights and bar for the home gym, did my first squat workout and realized after the second set that I was missing a weight belt. I used one religiously in my teens and early 20s for safety and in my 40s this is a required piece of PPE when lifting. I quickly researched and ordered this product because of the various sizes and colors (black and medium for me), solid materials, and the price. After a few months of use the verdicts is in and this product is exactly what I needed. I’m squatting in the low 200s 10-12 reps and can speak to its performance for those who lift for fitness. Heavy weight is no longer my goal so this is perfect. It’s a solid product with easy adjustments, solid comfort and performance. I would buy it again but I think this will last many years and I doubt I’ll need another.

Liked my first one enough that I came back and bought a second. Super easy to use, the Velcro is tight and stays put during a lift. Got in both green and camel colors, haven’t had any issues. Great price.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Perfect belt! Doesn't pinch at the stomach. Doesn't come loose. Doesn't pinch at the buckle or on my back when benching. Overall super pleased with the value. Weight: Super light, easy to carry in the gym bag.

I have used this for about 2 years now. It has great support. I have nothing bad to say. It does exactly what is needed for my squat max. The durability is great like I said I have been using it for 2 years

Overall, this belt gets the job done. It’s very affordable, and the material is high quality and durable. However, the locking mechanism makes it difficult to properly tighten, and I feel like it impedes the amount of support it’s able to give during heavy squats.
