Is the frequency continuous from 5.95 to 21.85 MHz or are there gaps?

There are gaps in the shortwave coverage...the radio includes the major SW broadcast bands. Mine is packed away for a move...I can't give the exact frequency ranges unfortunately.

This a single conversion superheterodyne radio. It is not synthesized PLL, and as such it will have more drift than you would see from a PLL radio.

Would this work in an office building? I'm in the middle of a hospital, no windows close by.

This is not a particularly sensitive radio, so it is not one I would choose for a challenging situation. With that said, I don't know that anything is going to work in the middle of a hospital. In the old days, people would put radios next to phone cords. I don't know if that still applies to modern phones.

What's the difference between the dr-920c and the older dr-920?
