I live in Las Vegas. How well does this product hold up in xtreme heat, parked outdoors, no car cover?

Live in NE, had product on my car almost 2 years (including many 90 degree summer days) with no problems

What is the thickness

It’s a nice medium gauge tape. With a steady hand I am very happy with the products, saved myself $175 over a detailer doing it.

i bought this for my vehicles and on my honda civic because of the lip on inside of door it wont stay on.do they make some a little wider?

This product protects the edge of your car door against nicking the paint if you open it up and hit an object. It may protect another car if it lightly hits the car next to it. That is why I park away from other vehicles, I installed the protector on my car to keep the door edge from getting nicked when I open the car door when I park in my driveway next to my house.
