Shine 'n Jam Conditioning Gel | Extra Hold

This product holds your hair amazingly, but I am not sure why during each use it remover my nail polish; even if i am wearing a top coat. I am worried if it does this to my nails, what it does to the hair? Strangely enough it makes the hair soft.

It holds my hair in place all day and I never have to reapply it

I'm a beginner and have a hard time braiding with most other gels because they're too slippery and i don't get the braids tight enough. My boyfriend has pretty short hair for braiding but this gel gives good grip and hold and is really easy to work with. Really good braiding gel. Good hold and not slippery.
