Introducing Chess to Non-Chess Players
This is a very user friendly book to teach chess to anyone that does not already know how to play and it can refresh some of the rules chess players may have forgotten. The print is large( eye friendly for the young and the older generations) and the author is easy to read and makes fun colloquialisms throughout the book. The book is full of illustrations, chapter summaries, quizzes to practice what you just read, glossary of chess terms and several resources to further your knowledge of chess in book and website form. The author teaches you to win at chess. The book is only 144 pages long from first page to the last page, so a very short read. This is a wonderful informative book.

Actually great for any age chess player.
Actually impressed with this book. As a long time chess player adult, I read it first before gifting to my nephew (age 11). Easy to understand. Detailed with illustrations for all moves. I learned a few things that I didn't know. Gives a little history and has some neat facts too. My nephew pulls it out and points out things when we play. Really a good learning tool for all ages. Well worth it. Large print, durable too. 5 stars!
