How do you turn it off?

You put the pin back in to turn it off

I have only partial use of left hand & arm. Takes several seconds to grab and hold an Item. Will this make it difficult to pull alarm?

Pulling the alarm should not be a problem, especially if it is attached to a purse or something. Putting the alarm back together to stop the ear piercing noise might be more of a challenge. If you lay your hand on top of it on a counter, while inserting the pin, it might help you.

My flashlight is working but the alarm is not. I am thinking a defective alarm. Would the flashlight work if batteries were dead?

answer your own question. How would it work without any battery power. next, how many batteries are in the unit. answers; it would not, and one. so if the battery is powering the light but not audio device, there must be a break in the connection to the audio. most likely in the switch. jim
