Unless there is some circuitry that protects/prevents power from one audio output from flowing back to another connected audio out (rather than power only flowing to a speaker), I think this can damage your equipment. Audio outputs may not tolerate have power levels from another audio input piped into them, and they might get fried from it. Mixers have special circuitry to accomplish this; this device, assuming only one audio input power producer to multiple audio power consumers (headphones/speakers) may not.

No, unless the headset you are using has a separate volume control. The volume input is set by the device and the output is the same to all 5 outputs.

Q: can you have two earbuds listening to music at same time in iphone?

Yes. It will split anything on the phone and pipe it up to 5. There wasn't any noticeable degradation in quality when I use it, but the volume will be slightly lower but supringly not too much.

Q: Is it possible to stack two of these splitters and get the same quality of sound?

It's unlikely anyone has two to answer, but based on signal decrease when you put more than two headphones, I doubt it. Most headphone jacks just don't have that kind of powere output. Look for something with an independent power supply, and you'll have better luck daisy-chaining.

Product works only for audio in not for out( microphone)

I purchased this in order to get multiple earphones and headphones to work simultaneously. However only audio in works however the microphone doesn’t work. I had to return the product. And amazon mentioned as it will be refunded. As a seller i trust amazon platform and buyers are protected.
