Way cheaper and better in many aspects compared to the other very expensive bulbs in market . Does the job well , had some issue linking Google home with Yeezy app and couldnt do it , but fortunately when I tried it using the xiaomi home app it was linked , it could be better if Yeezy acccount was linked to Google as there are more options there . But still it stands out as a winner compared to the higher end products in market . Will buy few more soon . Recommended

Received the product in its original packaging. This worked as a normal bulb as soon as you manually switch on your lamp before you set up via the mobile application. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone. Way cheaper and better than any other bulbs. The instructions are fairly easy to follow, so get started and let your new bulbs get to workin’ via your gadgets or more importantly, your voice commands!

Works well with my google home app. I think for me warm white and cool white was enough option. Wish they had bulb with only those 2 colors and made it bit cheaper. Overall, extremely happy with this product. Both bulbs arrived in perfect condition, I'll purchase more but one with only warm white option (shame it won't have cool white but it'll do)

Received the product in its original packaging. The picture being advertised can be a bit misleading - I actually thought maybe one bulb is white and the other is color - But thankfully BOTH are colored - which is great! This worked as a normal bulb as soon as you manually switch on your lamp before you setup via mobile application(s). ( I read a review here saying 'I wish you could use this without wifi " well you can...but who wants to use this as a normal white bulb anyway?! ) You need to install a couple of apps but pairing was easy - just follow the instructions in manual given. I would definitely recommend this product for the below reason : 1. Energy-saving - A one time investment - I think this brightens up an entire room just with a wall lighter lamp. 2. Mood setting - Enables you to adjust your room lighting so easily. So much fun! 3. Smart home device - If you have Amazon Echo ( Like me ) or Google home or any other smart home device that is applicable - It is a lot of fun to use. I mean, make use of the technology you own :) It works well with my Amazon Echo - It sure is a lot of fun when you can just speak to it and customize everything the bulb can do. The connectivity is great! For those wondering what if I have a smart bulb in each room but only one Echo device in the living room for example... You can use your Amazon Alexa app on your phone... and that acts like the main device... So if you are in your room, you can literally add the Amazon Alexa widget on your home screen (Android for me) and say "switch on/off/increase/decrease/change color of room light" .. and it works perfectly. Do not buy them! Be very careful even though they say it works with Alexa or Siri or Google it doesn't!!!! I tried every for a week now, after all they ended up in garbage and I bought from another brand. If you don't care to connect it with any of this features its a nice bulb, interface of Mi home is okish. Choosing colors can be very tricky and difficult as it had an not very user friendly interface. Selecting colors can also affect brightness and then when you go to fix the brightness it's changing the color. Would be very nice if the interface was simpler and more friendly. If you want to maintain your mental health buy another bulb 💡!!!

So I originally bought this item back in August hoping to add voice controlled lights to my bedroom. The two pack seemed ideal at the time. And it was, I was pleasantly surprised by good build quality & packaging. Furthermore when I plugged them in and turned them on and set them up with the app, everything worked as described! This first pair of bulbs (Grey base as pictured) had no problems connecting to Apple HomeKit on iOS and I was loving the voice control through Siri. Following this great experience I ordered another pair and was even more pleasantly surprised when I noticed the price had dropped since my last purchase! great! But alas, once delivered I noticed that the bulbs were not the 2 pack as I received last time, they were two separate bulbs and they were also different from the previous pair. These have white bulb bases (as can be seen is some other amazon listings) and once paired to the Xiaomi Home app refused to be added to HomeKit.. hence, no voice control through Siri! Regardless the functionality is the same but after some digging online, I found that this model (MJDPL01YL) is older and does not have the ability to connect to HomeKit even after the latest firmware upgrade. Returning this pair, and hoping that there is a future listing with specified HomeKit support! tl;dr: Grey base = Gut! HomeKit compatible , White base = Not HomeKit compatible - Also it HomeKit compatibility is not printed on the packaging.

The initial setup is very easy, they a bright enough. I didn't know how to reset them after changing my WiFi network at home but I fixed that by giving the new WiFi the same name and password and they connected to it instantly. The app is useful but kinda buggy. Overall the bulbs are very good and cheap.
