Hassle free reusable pods
i love these, they work so well with the machine. They are easy to clean, easy to prep, seal nicely and save us money on having to buy pods over and over again, a real money saver.

Awesome in theory
I will be returning this item. When packed with espresso, what comes out is almost pure water. It appears to me that the water never saturates the coffee. The item is great in theory; however it does not work. I will continue to buy the refilled capsules despite availability for my very superior but old machine.

Great Product - environmentally friendly and works a treat !
I'm currently doing a round the world sailing trip in my yacht and have a red Nespresso Inissia onboard. During my time sailing so far from Australia into Asia, I have been shocked by the amount of plastic waste in the seas. I ordered these pods as nespresso pods just get thrown away and add to the garbage on the land and in the seas. I have so far been using these for about a month and they are fantastic. I use the scoop and press down the coffee into the pod and add more until its full and tightly packed and push down the lid. I have found a good coffee to use that is suitable for espresso machines. The coffee tastes as good as the disposable pods I was using before. After use I scoop out the coffee and gently wash the pod in cold clean water by hand then leave to dry. I don't bother removing all the coffee in the lid. Once dry I gently brush the mesh lid and and excess coffee is removed easily. I rotate the use of all 6 pods so fill them all up at one time. Anyway, these are a cost effective way of making coffee but more importantly for me are environmentally friendly. Great product guys. Thanks - Lee (Sailing Vessel Santorini) insta @aussiesailors

Decent but clean up is very tedious
I have a Nespresso Inissia and got sick of purchasing the Nespresso capsules despite the fact that they make great tasting coffee. But obviously cost is too much for me. I've been researching alternative options and the generic pre-filled capsules are only slightly cheaper. I wanted something that would not make me have to wait until I receive a new order of capsules or reorder products. I have returned these capsules for the fact that the clean up was a lengthy process and would like something that is easier to clean up so I can fill again quickly. I am now considering getting disposable capsules that you seal with foil stickers or maybe sealpods if those don't work out. PROS: -Brews decent coffee depending on coffee used. I used mostly Caribou Coffee Mahogany Dark roast coffee & Lavazza Super Crema and seemed to get great tasting coffee. I grind the coffee beans using a blade coffee grinder to a fine grind and then tamp and fill the capsules to the rim and push down with the bottom of the plastic scooper until top of fill is flat. -Reusable and convenient for those who want to grind their own coffee from coffee beans or fill with pre-ground coffee. -Comes with a scooper and can use the bottom to tamp or press coffe grinds down. CONS: -Clean up is very tedious. The brush that comes with the capsules is practically useless in removing wet used coffee grounds from the cap and the bristles are cheaply made. I instead had to use my latte art pen tip or a toothpick to clean out the cap. -Number of capsules is not enough and requires frequent cleaning (which I hated). I found myself having to clean often due to making multiple cups of coffee for multiple people in my home. -I was unable to get a full lungo shot with these capsules. It seemed to get watery half way thru despite trying different methods suggested by other reviewers like experimenting with the grind (i.e. fine, espresso grind), tamping, etc. but still seems to get watery. The shot still tastes good but just don't feel like I'm gettting a full espresso shot out of the capsule. -Size is slightly smaller than original Nespresso capsules and generic brand capsules and thus fits less coffee, which might be part of the reason I can't get a full espresso shot. Sometimes I had to use two capsules just to get a lungo shot or bigger shot that was not watery. I usually stop the machine once I see the pour becoming watery. Overall, it's a decent capsule. But it just was not for me, especially the clean up situation. I would say give it a try if you really want to use your own coffee due to cost of original capsules. Hope this helps.

Great alternative to buying brand name pods
Purchased these to use in my Cuisinart 4 in 1 machine. They didn’t fit without a slight modification to the machine. When you close the lid on the espresso machine, there are three small blades that typically puncture the espresso cartridge, the lid will not close. There is a small Phillips screws that holds the blade piece into the machine, pay attention to detail, but remove that small Phillips screw and the blade piece will come right out. Once the blades are out of the way, these pods work great. If you want to go back to store bought pods, reinstall the blade piece and you’re good to go.

TRULY, not a replacement for Nespresso machines
I love my Nespresso, but I hate the waste of all those espresso capsules in the trash. Even if you're not looking at these for environmental waste alternatives, they aren't a time saver either. I use Bustelo... GROUNDS... I didn't have luck with the Bustelo capsules. So, let's say I want to steep some espresso. I can put a paper filter in the cup, get hot water from the Nespresso and steep the Bustelo in less time than these will take from you. I filled them and tried a triple shot from the Nespresso machine. You're lucky to get 1 shot of semi-stout espresso from these, by 2 it's just colored water. So then you pack them with the included scoop and, the results are barely any better. The nightmare comes when you need to clean them. The grounds are packed in there and you have to dig each one out. They include a brush to clean the screens but, it's the same brush I got with my beard trimmers. It's weak and isn't digging out any packed grounds in the screen. Grabbed one of the emergency guest toothbrushes and had to scrub. Scrub them clean, to refill them again? It takes 4 of these to equal 2 disposable capsules. Even the off-brand capsules I like, double to triple these. I will keep them in case I need them in a jam but they DEFINITELY aren't a viable replacement for the disposable capsules.
