Insect and Butterfly Net with 12" Ring, 24" Net Depth, Handle Extends to 59 Inches

A great net! Beats my homemade broomstick with the toy net attached at the end. This net is twice the diameter and the extension aluminum handle is lightweight and great for catching carpenter bees that are attacking our house and outbuildings. The net itself is really deep and I thought a white netting material would be a detriment but it works really well. Definitely worth the price and the extension handle lets you adjust the length in tight quarters.

This is exactly what I wanted! The net is large enough in diameter to not have to precisely aim to capture an insect and the depth of the net does the job keeping them in. It seems durable and of good quality made of strong metal and has sturdy netting material. The handle extends easily and smoothly. It did not come with any instructions on how to assemble the net itself to the ring so I gave it to my husband and he had it ready in 15 seconds. I was making it too complicated with my overthinking! We are pleased with our purchase!

I can tell the net is a good quality net, but it doesn’t work for catching my precious cat when needs to come home for bed.

When I received the item, I was a bit confused at how it all went together (there's not that many pieces). It was easy to figure out, and I was able to grab the great LONG handle net, and run to the pool enclosure, and after a few attempts, was able to catch the dragonfly! As I was using it, the extended handle kept collapsing, which was frustrating, but I quickly figured out that it had to be turned, to keep it al the desired length. Each section needs to be tightened when you are using it. It collapsed just fine, and now we are thrilled to have a strong metal pole, that can help rescue flying critters. I also liked that it was pretty wide, which helped immensely when rescuing the dragonfly. I did some research on-line and learned that as it gets dark, a dragonfly and butterfly will stay still until daylight. This poor little guy had been in there for two days and was pretty tired. I did have to bump him very gently, so that I could catch him, and he started flying and with the help of a small ladder, was successful. It was wonderful to see him fly away free without screens being in his way.

Well made. Light duty. I don't think it would be strong enough to be used as a fishing net, but it's excellent for catching carpenterbees.Nice

I had a previous version, from a 2020 Christmas present with a smaller ring that several of the pot-metal hinges broke. It appeared this was a sturdier modified model so I bought the 16". The joints appear to be stronger than the previous version but like others have reported the sewn portion of the net is so tight on the ring that the fabric is ripping out of the stitches. See top of net in photo. Either the seller is trying to save money by skimping on the material or they included a net made for the 14' model. Please send me the correct sized net, AFTER it has been tested on a fully assembled 16" ring. Thank you!

I bought a 16 inch net. it is half inch less but not a big deal on that. i wanted a big one, and it is. I had no issues with the net assembly. it goes together fast and easy. once you get it the length you want, twist the other way to set it in place. i am catching carpenter bees in mine. its a good quality and swishes through the air fast, the drop of the net is long enough to quick flip and trap a bug in it. very happy with this net. would recommend.

Needed a net to catch a bird that was trapped in our garage. Arrived in one day and was easy to assemble. Operation Feathery Friend was a success thanks to the net. The handle is telescopic for easy storage and has a great reach when fully extended. Great for bug hunting or bird rescuing!!!
