Will this work with a roku streaming stick 4k?

Yes! I have the Logitech Harmony 655, Elite, 650 and One+. They all work great with Roku and all other devices that I have. You need to be patient and take the time to configure it right.

Will this work if my receiver is in a closet directly behind me?

Hello there is a trick if your receiver is not behind a closed door . You can direct a mirror on an angle to direct the remotes it beam to the receiver . It works !

the 665 model Haemony..does it come with a charging base?

Negative... This remote uses standard AA batteries (or in my case I use Ni-MH rechargeable batteries that I rotate in a standalone charger)
