Men's Workhog Waterproof Work Boot

I've been looking for a square toe composite toe work boot that was water proof and insulated. This boot checked all the boxes! These boots are very warm and comfortable and I've worn them a lot since I bought them. They are indeed waterproof and the traction they provide is by far excellent in snow and ice. The first thing I did when I got them is I cleaned them with Red Wing leather soap and then let them dry. I then did 3x heavy coats of Huberd's Shoe Grease. Then let the boot sit for a couple days to absorb the grease before wearing them. I've been wearing them every other day (Pro Tip: Don't wear the same leather boots everyday!) and they still look like new, other than the usual workman's scuffs. This week I plan on cleaning them again and doing a nice coat or two of the Huberd's to prep them for more rain/snow/ice and sand/salt goodness. Key thing with any leather boot is to stay up on cleaning and oiling them. They will last for a long time. I also found that these boots are resoleable by NuShoe. ARIAT has a contract with them apparently. Very good boots, and I highly recommend them.

Love these boots. Square toe Ariats are super comfortable and these look great also.The dark, textured leather looks really good and seems to be pretty resistant to scuffs and wear and tear. I prefer these over the other Ariat models that have the orange part of the sole showing through on the side, just personal preference though. I didn't really care for the contrasting trim around the top of the sole on this one either so I used a sharpie to black that out and I think it looks better (see photos). Sizing was spot on for me. They are a bit tough to slip on at first but that gets easier after wearing them for a little while. They do stretch out just a tiny bit as you get them good and broken in so I recommend a good snug fit right out of the box. Pictures are after a few months of wear and the boots still look and feel great. Overall a great boot, and the only negative for me is the price. Other than that I highly recommend.

Love the look of these boots. They are good work boots without the steel toe. Have a good work boot without a steel toe helps me around the farm dealing with my ducks and chickens. They fit ok and should be fine, but they do fit a bit tighter than they should. If I wear a thicker sock than normal (winter socks) there is no way these will fit with out being uncomfortable. So thinner socks are needed. I did try one full size up and they were too big, but I bet a half size up would be perfect. So they seem to fit a half size too small. But still a great boot and am looking forward to wearing them out.

These boots are awesome! I have very large calves and the shaft opening fits excellent. There is no rubbing,which is very common with western boots on me. They were a little tight in the bridge of my foot, but some rubbing alcohol sprayed inside them in this area and stretching it with my knuckles loosened them right up. These things are super comfortable. As a big guy it's a little hard to find boots that actually have a supporting insole. These have just the right amount of support and cushioning. They also did not take long to break in, after about one week of solid wear they were completely broke in. If I had to find one thing to nitpick, the oiled lower leather scuffs sort of easily, but it is easy to fix by just rubbing the scuffs with your finger until it warms enough to release the oils. These really are excellent boots, well worth the money!

I have been wearing these boots for over seven years. They have been around the world and seen every weather condition you can think of and even repelled two snake bit attempts without a puncture in the heel. They are still waterproof, the sole still has decent tread and still my most comfortable boots (they are more comfortable than my slippers). If you take care of these boots, they will last a long time.

They were a little tight at first. Pushed through the first couple days and they broke in and fit just right! Some of the most comfortable boots I’ve ever had. Will definitely get another pair when these are worn out! My feet are size 10.5, I ordered an 11 in these at first because I don’t like tight boots and some ariats I’ve tried run small. The 11 were a little too big so I returned and got 10.5. They fit just right after breaking in so true to size!

With this boot being water tight, don't let it be an everyday wear. It needs time to air out due to moisture. The inner liner breaks down. Otherwise a very comfortable boot. I suggest this boot without the waterproof liner. Update September 26th 2023. Treads are coming off the sole.October 10th, requested warranty. The grips on the sole are coming off and the left boot innerspring let loose. I cannotnwear these as it takes 10 minutes to get the boot off.

The title for this advertisement says CSA. These are not CSA approved as they are soft toe. The description also says good for oil and gas industry. Very misleading sale so get labelled correctly so others don’t get fooled like I did
